I got a lot done with the phone today. I called VzW and set up my Voice Mail, learned how to call in to check Voice Mail, set up an automated debit from my checking account every month, and bought a ringback tone for callers to hear during the month of December ("Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Christina Aguilera).

After that I went through my User Manual again for bits of information, and then checked out the Quick Reference Guide. Previously I had watched part of the CD but when I saw that it was simply a mentioning of things rather than an explaining of them, I ejected the CD.

Tonight while reading that Quick Reference Guide about charging, I found the answer to my earlier question about how one knows when the phone has...

I telephoned VzW Support and was told that although it is a standard recommendation to charge the unit for 24 hours prior to use, it is not necessary to do it now, and it does not affect the life of the battery NOT to charge for 24 hours.
