Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Ringtone Options for USCC
I was wondering if anyone knows how to transfer mp3 ringtones to this phone (besides buying them on easyedge)...it seems that USCC has disabled this feature for the 6255. I have tried all of the converters in the Nokia software 6.6 and still cannot get one of my created ringers to work. The only success that I have had is transfering midi ringtones to the phone. They generally suck, so I would prefer to be able to make my own. What is also odd to me is that they did not disable the ability to transfer games to the phone, only ringers. Weird!

I haven't been able to transfer midi tones much less anything else either. It says the file wont work or something. Sorry did it a while ago and don't remember exactly what it said.
I did it over bluetooth. Do you use a data cable or how do you do it?
US Cellular agent told me you have to use easy edge because the company disabled the system so you have to use easy edge and pay for the easy edge service and then pay for the downloaded tone.
