Agreed. This is getting old. ☹️

All I want is a quality phone with speakerphone and trimode. Audiovoxes seem to be fairly ghetto quality-wise (unless you're talkin' the Audiovox 9900, which was actually made by Toshiba), so they're out. Kyocera is ok, not good but 'ok', but I don't want just ok, and their designs and styling always seems to be a bit off.

Motos... well, my friends V265 is starting to give up the ghost and its going to have to be replaced under warranty, plus its never had the best voice-quality to begin with, so I don't really trust Moto. Even the E815 doesn't really tempt me, simply too big and no trimode.

That leaves LG, Samsung, and Nokia. I keep hearing mixed reviews on the 6100, and the 5200 seems like its very...

I check this forum almost daily looking for any news about the 6256i and it's starting to get depressing. I even went out and bought another headset for my 3589i! 😉

While I'm not a fan of LG phones overall, the forums here seem to give a great score to LG 4650. Not so with the 6100 or other LG models, at least in regards to Nokia-like reception.

The 4650 might be worthy of adding to your list of decent phones for consideration.

4650, huh? I thought it was a Push-to-talk phone, but upon closer inspection, its not. Its also getting pretty good user reviews, as you say.

It might be an option... the only probs I have with it is that its a little bit big, and, let's face it, its a pretty ugly phone. But at this point, I'm starting to be not so picky.

I'll let things go until the end of the quarter (Sept 30), and if no good new Nokias or Samsungs are out by then, I'm just going to get whatever. Sigh. ☹️
