can you download a ring tone ?
Why cant I download a music ringtone from the spirnt store from this phone?
Also Im trying to download pictures. They told me to take the picture and then click on upload picture. I dont see this when I take a picture. Can anyone help please

I found the same result when I visited my local Sprint store. I wanted to download my college fight song. Not only were none of those available no ring tones at all were available to download for the Touch. The store rep said the phone is too new and that the ring tones will be coming.

I've read that you can convert an mp3 to an m4a file through websites like funformobile.com, download the m4a file, and copy it to your ringtones folder. Haven't tried it yet, so if someone does before I do please share your results.

take your regular mp3 wmv files to your memory card, and the phone will automaticly see all songs on your phone. i must have 100+ songs on my card and i can use anyone of them to function as my ring tone. there are programs that you can download from the net where you can chop songs down to a certain length and choose what part of the song you want to use as a ring tone.

Ok I just tested it, and that is correct. You can use any MP3 file on your phone and set it as the ring tone. What I did was use Audacity to chop the song down to the part I wanted it and amplify it as much as possible without getting choppy (1 or 2 db was the most I could get). The end result was a fairly clear and loud music ring tone. Now I can have my signature "Dire Straits, Money for Nothin" guitar lick that I've had on all my other phones for the past few years!
