LG enV VX-9900

yeah, I've been playing around with the phone for awhile, and I can't find a way to send between 2 phones, with the exception of "business cards", from what I read by a few people on here, it's very much possible to do so. Can someone let me in?

I originally planned to download Tetris on my enV, but it uses air time, so I'm curious if there are any good games that don't use air time.

Hey, so I was all excited that I could get my own ringtones again with this phone. So, as I did before, I logged onto walmart.com, saved a music file (no more than 30 seconds) as filename.mp3 and then sent it to xxxxx@vzwpix.com. When I get it on my phone no sound plays at all. I am so confused. Anyone know what I am doing wrong???

If anyone has used or purchased this on the 9900 can you explain? Is it $19.99 a month for wireless sync? I am major curious.

I have all of my music as wma, yet some songs my phone says license acquistion failure. Kinda stumped. Any help appreciated.

I have an enV and I have been having shut down, lock up and battery issues. Nothing major but annoying. So I called Tech Support and the guy said that there was a 'silent' recall on the enV batteries. Apparently the very first shipment had a bad battery in it and it only applied to the shipment that VZW recieved for online orders and it only affected about 1 out of every 5.

I just wanted to put that out there so if there is anybody who is having quick draining problems or the phone going "blue screen" (literally) that it is probably caused by a bad battery.

Okay so I tried to use Imtoo and all I got after converting it to mp4 and placing it on the phone was audio with a black screen as my picture...

So I was wondering if anyone has successfully placed a video of good quality onto their 9900?

If so can you tell me the program you used and the settings you used?

I am trying to find a free program that does not have a limit to the converting process. (like Imtoo only did the first 5 minutes of the video)

Also, if anyone knows, what formats are accepted for videos?

I for some reason can not how to turn off the "loss of service" voice on this phone. I have found how to turn off all other service alerts except for this one. If I hear her say "loss of service" one more time I'm gonna scream. Does anyone know how to do this? Please help!!!! Thank you!

Does this phone have a message waiting indicator? My current phone does not, and it is very annoying.

Has anyone encounter any problems with their phone? I just got my this past Monday and since then I have been having a lot of problems. The phone turns off after putting it in vibrate mode, and sometimes also when it goes into keyguard mode, I will hit the OK button and it turns off too. After turning it on it gives me a message saying "Use Genuine Battery, Turning Off in 9 seconds". This message did it to me for about 3 or 5 times. Until i removed the battery and inserted back again.

Since am still within my 15 day period am taking it in today after work and getting another. Has anyone encounter any problems like mine?

Just wanted to let people know here about the issues I have with this phone.

does anyone know of a case or pouch thats available for this phone? Or was there a pouch for the 9800, I'm guess this phone might fit inside it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to listen to sirius if i'm signed in on this phone?

Also does it (or any comparable phone) have Wifi? I really like that option and may be willing to wait 6 months if necessary to get it.

Just picked this phone up for my wife today as she was due for an upgrade.

She likes the phone a lot, but I think I may have found a problem.

The camera zoom does not work. I RTFM'd the VZ manual and even dl'd one from the LG site. Neither the Navigation button nor the top/side volume button change the zoom as the manuals say they should.

SW version is T99VZV01. Even did a *228 / 1 to see if the SW ver would update - no-go.

Am I missing some secret way to get this thing to work or is her phone broken?

okay, so i got a Motorola Pink Razr V3m about 3 months ago. Anyways, so I am on a family plan with two other people and i REALLY hate the razr and was hoping to switch to the phone/ upgrade it. HOw much would it be?
Also will there be a penalty becuase ive talked to them before about something smililar and they say something about a 170 dollar fee. Please clairfy soon becuase i was hoping to get this phone within the next 2 weeks.

The exterior menu for Get It Now (right arrow key) only shows 2 options, Music & Tones and Pictures & Videos. The VZW phone rep said it should show everything that the main interior menu has so I can access Mobile Web without opening phone.

I took it to a Verizon store and he took a 9900 off the shelf and it had the same problem. The rep said that it must be a software error and that there were similar problems on the 9800. I have 10 days left to exchange it. Anyone else have the same problem?

i heard you can get free ringtones on the 9900 can someone verify this to me and if it is true can someont tell me how to do it...thank you!!!!

ok so i use bitpim ALOT and about 3 weeks ago it started acting goofy on me. i would get this message when i tried to start up the program. its pretty long, so i apologize. i was wondering if anyone had any idea what is wrong with it? i tried uninstalling it&redownloading it from bitpim.org but it continues to give me this message. please, if anyone has any info could they let me know? i would so very much appreciate it, thanks 😢
