music format ???

my question is do you have to convert the songs to an mp3 format or can you leave them in wav format. also when using a card what is the easiest way to load the card(program, file, etc). thanks for the help on the newbie questions. most of the songs i have are in aac(ipod) format. i know these will not work, but i use wavepad switch to get them to mp3, right?

LG Chocolate V Cast Music Phone
[RETAIL: $150 with a two-year contract]
This phone is called Chocolate because it's supposed to remind you of sweet, sweet candy, but in reality it's just empty calories. Obnoxious red menu buttons mar the otherwise handsome slider's brushed-black case. The hypersensitive touchpad sent me to parts of the menu I never intended to visit; turning the sensitivity down didn't help, it just made the pad unresponsive. And while the menu functions are merely counterintuitive, the showcase MP3 player is both poorly designed and difficult to use. As a phone, the Chocolate sets a new standard for mediocrity. Its uninspired interface and lackluster audio quality had me ignoring calls from loved ones on purpose. My advic...

Chocolate Calendar bug?

I'm having the weirdest problem with my Chocolate... I was wondering if any of you have had this also.

I love my calendar. Lets just get that out there. I use it regularly to keep my work schedule at my fingertips.
For some reason, only some dates change color when events are scheduled. As in, on the 18th I have 'Pay Day' scheduled at 4pm, and 'Work' at 5 - it turns up purple on the calendar and says that I have two events that day. Now, when I scroll over to the 19th, it is the same white color as the other empty days when in full month view, and it says 'No Event'. However, when I click on the 19th, it tells me I have 'Work' at 5pm.

This happens to almost every other day and I'm not quite understanding this... I've contacted *611 a...

Read the directions!!!

I recently read a review that said the Chocolate was subpar because previous phones have easier access to the video/flix option. "All you had to do was push one button, now I have to go through all these menus." Guess what? Read the directions! Your one-button fetish is solved by keeping in the music button that directs you to the video camera!!

So maybe there's some directions I should be reading, but recently I was pushed into a swimming pool and my Chocolate (no insurance) is ruined. I've got a 1 year contract, so will this friend of mine be paying $199 or some obscure $500 price?

thanks

echoing problem? Help please!

When I call someone and talk with the Chocolate,
I hear myself on the phone.
What I mean by that is that I can hear my voice throughout the phone speaker. (There's no delay for my voice, so I'm hearing the exact same thing WITH my voice)

It's really annoying by now.. and I'm wondering if it's just mine or for everyone's phone...

Please help! 😢

Basic Question for New Chocolate Phone

I just got the new chocolate phone from Verizon. I have all my music on an external hardrive hooked up to my computer. I have a few questions.

1. Do I have to get the Essential Music Kit from Verizon to sync my music with my phone?

2. Once I get my music on my phone, can you make a song your personal ringer?

Thanks in advance for anyones help.

Chocolate touch keys and sensitivity

This is a common question by now. Is the chocolate the better choice over phones such as the LG 8300? From the looks of it, the 8300 appears to be a durable/dependable phone that would satisfy the user for a 2 year period. The chocolate however, despite it's cool look and features, has me feeling skeptical. I got a chance to play around with my friend's chocolate and I found a few cons right away. When I scrolled through the menu, it appeared to be slightly lagging, which was frustrating. Another concern I have is the touch keys and it's sensitivity. I want to know if the keys get in the way when you talk on the phone, b/c your face touches the screen (which is near the keys). I don't want to be talking on the phone then accidently have my f...

The 8300 is still better, I RATE the Chocolate ZERO

its True it is.... the chocolate feels cheap and the 8300 outperforms it easy. This forum is DEAD the 8300 forum had way better buzz and still Does. The sales are in the toilet on this thing, peeps still gravitate to flips for good reason, sliders are a pain in the butt!!! small buttons and lack of functionality just kills this phone. Anyways have fun with it I rate it a ZERO tho. Come ON lg 9900 now this phone will be TOPS
