Chocolate touch keys and sensitivity

This is a common question by now. Is the chocolate the better choice over phones such as the LG 8300? From the looks of it, the 8300 appears to be a durable/dependable phone that would satisfy the user for a 2 year period. The chocolate however, despite it's cool look and features, has me feeling skeptical. I got a chance to play around with my friend's chocolate and I found a few cons right away. When I scrolled through the menu, it appeared to be slightly lagging, which was frustrating. Another concern I have is the touch keys and it's sensitivity. I want to know if the keys get in the way when you talk on the phone, b/c your face touches the screen (which is near the keys). I don't want to be talking on the phone then accidently have my f...

DOn't know if it will last yet. but it seems fine so far.
As to the touch keys hitting your face, they are not active during a call.
