RAZR charger on an 8525?

i've got several RAZR chargers sitting around from my old phone. They output 5v at 550mA while my 8525 charger is 5v @ 1A. I think that means the RAZR charger will just charge my 8525 slower. But i'm concerned there are smart features on the razr chargers telling it when to shut off.
any idea if this will work? maybe i should just spend the $50 or whatever for another 8525 charger.

man that thing is bad on batteries...

programs help please

I've heard you can download programs to shut off connections/programs after a few minutes of idle use. I've also heard of a program where you can make the phone keypad bigger and easier to use. Can anyone help me with the links to these programs and how I install/use them on my 8525? I just got the phone and am new to it. Thanks!

Calendar while on phone

Is there a way to access the calendar while talking on the phone? For example, someone calls and wants to meet you and you have to check your calendar to see if you're free.

What is the difference between the 8525 and the TyTN?

I currently have an 8100 and am looking to upgrade to an HTC TyTN or 8525. There is a price difference of about $100 for unlocked phones with no service contract. The TyTN is more expensive and I am wondering why.

Internet Sharing

OK, let me see if I get it. If I do this, I can LEGALLY use my wi-fi settings on my 8525 to tether my phone as a modem to my computer WITHOUT having to worry about the AT&T police saying I need to use "Laptop Connect"? Anyone in the know, please advise.

19.99 data plan for 8525?

I have read on several sites where people are getting the 19.95 rate instead of the 39.99 rate. I have a Samsung D357 now. Could I just get the unlimited data plan for my phone, buy the 8525 and move my card into the new phone and have unlimited G3? Even better, could I buy directly from ATT and get them to set it up that way? Just hoping to hear from someone doing such a thing with this particular phone. Thanks.

MP3 ringtones possible?

I am needing a pda phone so very seriously considering this phone. I have read most of the threads re:8525 and it sounds like the phone that I want. I know that for business use mp3s are not high on a person's wishlist- but I have a few that I like to identify my family members calls- so....is it possible to use mp3s as ringtones or are the ringtones limited to the 30+ ringtones that come loaded on the phone? TIA!

Instant Messengers

If I use an instant message program on my 8525 does it count against Text Messages or does it use my data plan. I have the $39.99 unlimited data plan.

Updating the Media Library

I have noticed that when I attempt to update the library with the complete list of mp3's on my storage card, it is able to locate all the files but ceases to perform when it gets to the "Adding Files" step. It allows me to cancel and the phone performs fine otherwise. I have the new ROM update, latest Activesync, etc so I don't understand why it hasn't worked for me yet. Any help?
