LG VX-8300

Got a 8300 and want to transfer contacts from a 6100. Bitpim can't connect with the 8300. Anybody know how to do this without going to a store, and can a store even do it at this early stage?

Does any1 know when it will be available in stores???

Can you still open text and pix messages on the external display. We still haven't recieved any at our store.

Ok so I took the advice of others and download Audacity to edit songs into ringtones...The songs I we're using soung great on my computer but when i edited them and sent them to my phone the quality is horrible....just wondering if there is a way to improve the quality, basically just seeing how everone else is doing this.

I've been checking the verizon site and they don't have this phone available yet. Where did everyone get their's from?

I currently have the LG 7000 with the extended battery. If I upgrade to the 8300 will the battery work or will I have to buy another one? How about the car charger?

Had some people tonight tell me when I was on the 8300 speaking normally that I was coming through way too loudly. When I go to speaker , they say it's much better ?

Can you guys test this ?

Ask people to judge the quality and go from speaker to earpiece and see what happens..

From the specs listed on here, it looks like you cannot send a pix msg with this phone. Is that correct?

I know about the supposed 6/13th release date of vz nav for the vx8300. However, I was told recently by tech support, that there is no release date now for it, and that it might not come for this phone. Can any of you confirm this, and what the actually date is, if it is coming? This is the main reason I got this phone.

My 8300 is scheduled to arrive on Friday.

Had a bad experience with the Moto E815. The headset jack had lots of audio problems. So I returned it Verizon within the 15 days due to an apparent "defect".

Frankly, have been struggling deciding between the new RAZR v3m and the VX8300. Would very much like to have an ultra-slim phone, but I'm concerned about various user criticisms. The sound quality on the v3m seemed outstanding the little I used it. The 8300 was free with the "new every 2" deal while the v3m would have cost me $100. I still have one exchange to use up within the 15 day period if I don't like the 8300.

I am already at 3.28 megabytes, and the old 8100 ended at 2.13. I'm not sure how high it goes, but theres a chance it doesn't divide the memory up like the 8100!

Did you guys check out the Flash UI ??

Wow , I just did and it's nice. There are only two animated UI's though..

Are we going to be able to get more ??

Does anyone know a good "free" ringtone editor....I need something to take my full mp3 and take out the parts I want to use.

We just got out VX8300's, got them charged and in about 5 min my wife's totally froze while playing with the v-cast music. Anyone else had this happen. I had to pull the battery out to reset it.

Well after a long drawn out battle and some string pulling, I got my store to sell me a 8300 on a 2 year upgrade today. They still had 120 8100's and did not want to part with 8300's yet.. But they did 🙂

Okay so let's first keep in mind , I did extensive testing on the 8100 and 950 and the 930 a few weeks ago and the Q as of yesterday..

Ok so I know the screen isn't as nice as it was before, but at least it isn't bad. It is just more pixelated, I would have died if they used TFT like on the e815.

But now I have to order a new cable... ughhh.... The 8100 is way different. And for some reason my cable doesn't fit on all the way, anyone else having this problem?

Definitely worth upgrading... 🙂
