HTC 2125 / 2100 (Faraday)

Just to let you guys know, this phone successfully works with the Tornado WM 6.5 release on howard forums. Sure, it's not the fastest device and it does lag, but none the less.. it's fully functional and brings new life to old hardware.

The google youtube app gives choppy video but stuff like exchange activesync, facebook app, google maps with location, microsoft voice command 1.6, AIM app,... etc etc. all work good.

Okay, so I was trying to free up some space on my phone and I think I deleted something I shouldn't have.

Whenever I attempt to change profiles, it automatically resets to Normal.. the first one. I've tried everything I can think of and I can't figure out how to get it back to functioning. FTR, it's not the home screen because I tried every home screen including the default ones that came with the phone and it still does it. Please help!!!!

when i watch a recorded tv show in windows media is it possible for the show to take up the full screen size.

i see that there's a full screen option but then all it does is put big black borders around most of the picture.

any ideas?

now whenever i remove my battery to get to the sd card and put the battery back in the date and time doesn't get saved. it resets back to 5/26/06.

any ideas?

i noticed that ms outlook comes on the installation cd do we still need to purchase a license still because it's prompting me for the product key and don't remember seeing any product key in my box contents.

i just noticed that att is now selling this as a refurbished fone. is it that good??

1. How do I access missed calls. I click on "missed calls" and get the numbers I've dialed!
2. How can I increase the font size and lighten the background on the home screen. I can't read the icons without a magnifying glass.
3. I tried to update the OS, but the phone refuses to accpet the upload.
4. Is there a keyboard available? I'd like to handle e-mail on the road without my laptop, and keying the phone is just too slow.

I left my phone outside overnight and it poured that night. I found it in the morning, took out the battery, storage card, and SIM card and dried the phone out completely. When i put it back together and recharged it, everything work fine, except the '1' button. I get nothing from it. What can I do?

I cant pust the # button. Does anyone else have any other keypad problems?

IT SUCKS.

Lets see......after 1 1/2 hours of ownership.

1. Freezes up

2. Error message continually pops up stating storage is full. I have yet to even put one contact in.

3. Clock shows 1969 and wrong time. Shouldn't this be sent over the air by Cingular, even daylight savings time changes.

4. Center joy stick SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being VERY careful using the joystick with the utmost of attention and precision and I still select things I don't want because the joystick pushes inward WAY to easy.

5. BACK IT GOES

I've been using this phone for several months now and definitely like it better than the SMT5600 that I had, BUT...

The joystick sucks! I'm constantly selecting the wrong icon...and I don't have fat fingers either! :-)

Besides the joystick, there's the annoying bluetooth issue when using voicedialing and the keys are locked, sometimes you get audio in the headset, sometimes you have to quickly unlock the phone and send it to the headset.

😲 Is there any hope for it?

Where does the 2125 save files that have been sent to it from another phone? I cant find it anywhere.

Hey, how do I change the location the camera saves images. I hate how the camera saves images under folders with that date as the folder name. It's really obnoxious; I'd prefer to have all my images saved to one folder of my choosing. How do I do this?

I have been attempting to get media player working for weeks now. I installed a 2GB memory card and attempted to Active Sync my music over with Media Player 11. I get frequent lockups when I do this. the Sync process stops and the phone appears to be either locked up or very sluggish, requiring battery removal to correct. Tried pre-loading my music on the card and then installing. media player initially works and then the phone appears to lockup again. Anybody have this issue and correct it?
