Bluetooth Volume Control?

I'm using a Plantronix Voyager 510 bluetooth earpiece with my 2125. All is good except, I cannot control the volume with the phone, I have to use the volume toggle on the earpiece. I have used this Plantronix with a Nokia 6620 and currently use with a Blackberry 7250 and when I changed the phone volume (while the earpiece was active) it would change the Plantronix volume.

Anyone have an idea how I can get the phone volume control to change the earpiece volume?

Thanks,

Twdix

Low Memory. WTF!?!?

I have not installed any programs on this phone. It sucks that I keep getting an alert stating that I'm nearly out of memory.

Has anyone found a clear cut way to determine where all of the available memory goes during typical usage? The only location that comes to mind would be my Outlook contacts, dates, and tasks. I don't sync outlook email. WTF?!?!

What's the problem. Also, need a clear cut way to have temp internet files saved to storage card. I'm struggling.

Please help!

2125 keeps going into "Home Service"

Except for this one quirk it's a great phone. Bought it used and keeps going into Home Service mode where it won't make or receive any calls. Resetting the phone fixes this. I did ask Cingular customer service when I first noticed it and they attributed the behavior to moving and picking up cell towers. However....now I've noticed it does it even when stationary and with great signal. Has anyone else seen this happen?

ring tones, games, and other beginner help needed

Man do I love my new 2125!
All the research ahead of time helped me find the perfect phone for me.
Great phone. Great email. Great internet. Works as dial up modem with my laptop.

The only bad part is I'm now in the smartphone world for the first time and even though I'm pretty technical I feel out of touch with some basic stuff like ring tones and games. Can someone give me a link to somewhere that can explain this stuff at the beginner level (and if possible something specific to the 2125).

I'm finding games on the net with different file types (zip, cab, etc). Some work, some don't. Some only fill in 1/4 of my screen. Downloaded a ringer which was a .wav file, can't seem to make it a ring tone. That kind of beginner help.

Push Email Question

I'm going to be getting this phone in a couple of weeks and have a question about email compatibility.

I was thinking I would need to use Xpress Mail to avoid having to pay for a more expensive mail option on Cingular but I keep seeing reviews mentioning its support of 'Push' email if you use Exchange 2003.

I'm not sure what my office uses for email, but is there the possibility that the 2125 supports email without anything special from Cingular? I'm a little confused.

Thanks.

Stereo Audio via Bluetooth?

Has anyone heard more on a firmware update to the Faraday (aka Cingular 2125, etc.) to enable stereo audio over Bluetooth? Official, hack, anything?

Customize Home Screen?

Does anyone know how to customize the homescreen.

I don't text message, so I would like that not to appear on the homescreen. I also don't need the profile to be shown either.

Otherwise...great phone.

NO-CAMERA Option?

Can you get the 2125 without the camera? I will use it ofr business and most customers do not allow cameras in their facilities.

MAC OS X compatible

Does the Cingular 2125 software support MAC OS X? It seems all of the software support for phone syncing is for Windows.

How is Email on this phone?

Thinking about this phone and Cingular. How is this phone for getting emails? I assume it is a bit more difficult to type emails since there is not a keyboard. But the size of the phone is appealing.

Thanks

2125 VS SDA

I don't personall own this one, but I do own the Tornado aka T-mob SDA. - Same phone but with added wifi.
You can get the Tornado for just around $200 on ebay right now (July 1😎 and unlock it yourself for free if you can follow a guide.
Take a look on smartphonethoughts.com, you'll see some of my postings there and a TON of helpful information with everything from adding free ringtones to activesync problems to programs, overclocking, you name it, you can find it.

Well everyone! How do you really like the 2125?

I am strongly considering it. I like the size, build quality, clear vivid screen.

Not sure about the earpiece volume, ringer volume, and joystick.

Like to hear what you have to say.

Thx.
