HTC 2125 / 2100 (Faraday)

When I try to watch certain videos on the phone, they are very choppy and the sound does not match up with the video. Does anyone know the optimum video settings and format for the phone to play? The windows media player on the phone only recognizes .wmv and I use TCMP for everything else.

My phone has stopped "seeing" the 2GB memory card. I am on phone #3 for this same issue. It sometimes comes back but most of the time it does not see it. I have found no documentation on size limit of the memory card that can be used. Anyone know of a solution? Thanks.

I can not believe that people are satisfied with the quality of music that comes from the motorola
ht820, although the sound is decent it doesn't compare with logitech ones. It was pretty easy to pair them with my phone without the included adapter. and now I am listenening to music wirelessly and with exelent sound.

Whenever I plug in the headset to listen to music with WMP or TCMP, I cannot remove the headset to return to a normal mode. When I unplug the headset from the jack, the profile remains at "headset," and I can't even make or receive calls unless I plug back in.. anybody seen this?

Is there a limit to the length of the videos or is it just according to your memory limit?

im trying to find a way to make the pictures larger when someone is calling... right now they are soo small you can barely make out what the picture is showing... does anyone know how to make these larger?

So all of the other Cingular phones with bluetooth seem to just work well with pairing and setting up a dial up connection, this phone is not and I can not find any info on it. Any success?

I've noticed that the Cingular version of this phone has a little hood on top - the antenna maybe? The i-mate version (SP3) doesn't have that hood, which makes it about 1/4 inch shorter. Does anyone know if has poorer reception/loss of other functionality?

Getting online using bluetooth and the 2125 as dial-in modem is possible but eats minutes.

Is there a way to get online with a laptop and the 2125 without using minutes, ie with EDGE?

On SprintPCS I can do that with my laptop connected to a Treo 650 and using a utility called "PDANet" to get on Sprint's "Vision" data network which doesn't eat up minutes.

Has anyone tried to use the 2125 with the HandsFreeLink on the Acura TL? I'm looking to get a new phone and want to know if this will work.

Does anyone know how large an Mini SD memory card the this phone can recognize? The manual doesn't seem to indicate this. Also This unit is suppose to be-able to surf the Web. Is there a mouse type pointer on the screen. How do you navigate around the screen?

I tried looking up online to get information on brands and specs of miniSD cards compatible with the 2125 in vain.

Could anyone in here please suggest any particular one they are using without issues?

This is really stupid, but I cannot remember my phone lock password for the life of me. Is there any way I can reset it, so that I can access my phone again.

Does anyone have the real G2 on this recall for software changes. The cingular stores near me are telling me for 2 months that the phone was recalled and they are not getting it until the bugs are fixed (Denver area). Yet you can buy the phone apparently from Cingular's website?

Having possible problems with the Jabra BT250v headset and this phone. When dialing via voice tag, the phone/headset connection is dropped after the tag is recognized and the phone begins dialing the number. If I go to the menu on the call progress page I can select Turn Handsfree on for that call, however, it still happens 1 in 4 calls, in both busy and "quiet" 2.4Ghz areas. Has anybody else had a problem like this?

I just bought the 2125 and love it so far. Except for one thing. I have a pair of Stereo headphones, but when I play wma's the sound only plays in 1 ear. I checked the headphones in my old motorola and they work fine there (so it's not the headphones). They are Motorola 2.5mm headphones so I don't see why that should be an issue.

Anyone know if there is a setting somewhere I can't find? Is this a hardware problem.

Is the a Users Manual available for this phone beside the Quick Start quide that comes in the shrink wrap? I have looked at Cingular, HTC web sites and find no links or references to a user manual.

Example - When attempting to enter text in contacts, I select "Abc" for input style using the * key. Yet the phone will NOT enter Upper Case characters for anything but the first character in the line.

Ie. Fanny may insurance company instead of
Fanny May Insurance Comapany. AAArgh!

I'm not synching w/LookOut - the phone is all I use for input.
