Samsung MM-A920

i am trying to figure out what file is needed to use to add media to my phone please help

from what i've read, this phone is only capable of capturing a 30 second clip even with the additional transflash card in the phone. is this true or can you take longer movies with this? my other question was if i were to take pictures and movies would i be able to transfer them to my pc using the transflash card? thanks for the help.

Please help me decide between this Samsung MM-A920 and the LG Fusic phone. I have two weeks until I am going to purchase either of these phones.

Before you all tell me to look at the reviews on this site; I have and I'm still undecided because of the "even" reviews I'm seeing. I see just as many good reviews as bad ones on the phones.

To be honest, I'm really feelin' the Samsung A920 and this is the phone I've always wanted but I keep being told to get the Fusic, but I'm getting the feeling that people are steering me towards the Fusic only because it's new.

In case anyone else gets the brilliant idea to cool off their cell phone in their swimming trunks just forget about it. I gave my 920 an accidental rinse in the pool yesterday but it still works. I think there is a problem with the battery now (go figure) but the phone turns on and operates with it's plugged in to charge, it just won't hold a charge. I guess the point is it's not the brightest idea to swim with electronics, but it apparently isn't the end of the world. Oh, and I'm a jack ass.

Anyone having a problem with the handset vibrating/red light flashing occasionally when listening to Power Vision radio or watching TV? A text box comes up saying "Information--Press any key to continue". You have about 3 seconds to do this, or you get disconnected from the radio or tv. What is this all about? I just downloaded the latest update last night and no change.

I want to know if anyone has had success with pairing this phone with Motorola's HT820 Bluetooth headphones. I love the idea of being able to listen to music, and answering or making a call - all from the same headset....WIRELESSLY! I hope someone out there's got some good news for me on this one!

What's up? Without just taking this phone apart does anyone know where (if any) the access to the internal antenna is on this phone? I've got it set up as my modem and I'm really interested in making a connection to my cantenna to see if it boosts my reception. 😎

MP3's are working great. Put them in the medial file, and easy to access through there. Only problem, is that you can't turn on th media player with the case closed - only access it once it's on. When you use the MP3 bittons on the front, it only opene the "Music Store"

I copied a few 3.2 megapixils, very clear on my computer, pictures to my card, and accessed through "mp pics". The pictures appear somewhat grainy but OK (same quality as camera pic), and when I choose one to set as main screen background, it appears as a square only (ie doesn't fill whole screen" amd the text overlying it appears distorted. I would have thought that a high res picture would fill the screen and look as good as the demo pictures?

I got a card adapter and slid the sd card in, and connected it to my USB port on my computer, and I went to my computer and opened up the removable disk f and it shows an icon with a music player thing, but when i went to open it so I could add a new folder it wouldnt open, so therefore I can't drag my music files onto it...any help please?

On the a920 id there any way to rest and then see how many minutes you have used? I note that feature is missing off the "call history". Is there a "secret" code that will at least give you total minutes for the phone. This feature was on the 600 series.

It is my understanding the A920 is not compatible with A2DP, which means I can't use it with bluetooth stereo headphones. If I am wrong, or if someone knows how to do this, please let me know.

Is the A2DP compatibility something that might come in a future software update, or is this just wishful thinking on my part?

I bought a 2.5 mm (male) to 3.5 mm (female) adapter to connect the A920 to my FM Transmitter, but it didn't work. FM Transmitter wasn't getting any signal from the phone. Do I need some special type of adapter?

are sprint phones like the 920 compatable with
verizon cell service? because they are both on
cdma 1900 technology? not sure?

my coworker doesn't like to trust what i think and doesn't believe that this phone is only digital and won't roam in analog areas. can anyone confirm that this phone will not roam in Analog. i told him that it only works on the CDMA 850, and CDMA 1900. not the AMPS 850.
