Voice memo

The 5600 has the feature to answer the phone and save it as a 15 sec. call memo when you hold down the ready link button (while the phone is ringing). Sure that sounds great and all but what is the purpose? 15 seconds is not long enough save a full message and we all are paying for voice mail. Is there something I'm missing that would make it worth using?? 😕

Can someone erase my review for the 5600?

I plan on rating this phone a "4" instead of a zero.

Is the camera on the 5600 atleast better than that on the sanyo 8200? I have the 8200 and the camera isn't that great at all. Anything better than this I will take it. So tell me is it better?

A-800 question.

If anyone has used the a800 , Im hoping that someone knows if you can talk on the phone with the slide closed like the LG 325. i know the samsung isnt that big, but i really like the idea of not having the slide open when you talk,so its not as bulky. I did notice in the pics that it looks like the mic is on the inside slide which im sad to see..but i hope im wrong. Thanks

Readylink Question

A couple of questions......... Do the MM-5600 have the same readylink sounds as the MM-7400? LOL the readylink chirps sound down right awful LOL(Kinda silly and childish)!! 😁

You think after the Sprint/Nextel merger sprint will get the Nextel chirps?? I love them

Voice Dialing: 5600 vs 7400 question

I recently purchased a 5600 and have been using the speech recognition voice dialing. When I push TALK it beeps, then I say "contact" and then the name and it dials. When I went to use my friend's 7400 this weekend, it prompts me verbally along with a beep. Then after I say the name, it repeats the name.

My question is, is the 5600 suppose to prompt verbally as well as beep like the 7400? Is it also suppose to repeat the name after I say the name? I can't find a setting in the phone to activate this feature.

The real review

You want the good news or the bad news first? Most people like to hear the “bad”, in hopes the “good” will put to rest their uncomfortable feelings after experiencing the “bad”…..but I prefer to take the other approach.

The Good:
- Cool looking phone. It doesn’t look like a toy walkie-talkie (ie 7400) and it has a nice “grown-up” feel to it. Something you can bring out in front of a chick and she won’t laugh under her breath at you for carrying a retarded looking gadget.
- Both screens are amazing in clarity!! Absolutely AMAZING!
- Sounds are ALL loud and very crisp/clear. This includes music, ringers, media, games, caller’s voice, etc. You will never have a single complaint about the sounds on this phone.
- Navigation is si...

Font size

Hi,

I have the MM-5600, and am unable to change the web browser font size. I have accessed the menu for changing the font size (both from options in the browser, and also from the settings of the phone), and have changed it from smallest (the setting that came with the phone) to normal. I see no difference in the font size on the broswer. I have even restarted the browser. I have also restarted the phone. No change. Tried doing large font, and still no change.

This is quite irritating, as I use the web browser often to read news (e.g., CNN), and the font size is always at the smallest, and VERY DIFFICULT to read.

Anyone else have this experience? Is there something else I need to do to change the font size?

Picture Quality

Pics in the light are awesome but they are really bad when there isnt sufficient lighting. The flash doesnt really help. Not as bright as the 5500. The 7400 has a night mode. Wondering why Sanyo didnt put that same feature in this one. Is everyone else having this problem? Hope its just mine.

Regarding awesomedeals88 review!

Any phone he or she doesn't like that phone has to be a great phone. In that review this person mentions many things that this phone was never going to have or was never said to have. Just like many of his or her posts worthless, pretty much right in line with box!
