GEEZ!!! get over it
alright so everyone is waiting for this wonderful phone to come out right sony e said it would be out last month. is it out? nooo! it not coming out anytime soon. why is everyone sticking to this phone like white oon rice. there are better phones. like me i waited for this phone then i held the s700 in my hand. its huge so i went online and looked up phone. did a **** load of resreach and came up the the best phone i i have ever had. and i know phones. i had every phone out there( well almost) i have spent more then i even want to say. i got the samsung d500 it smaller, faster software, and its unlocked and out. 1.3 mega pix, 100mb intenal memory, and a much better screen the the sony s710 and it cheap on ebay i bought mine from a guy called...

Actually the s710 has a much better screen, its QVGA.
It also has EDGE, GSM 850(much wider coverage area), an expansion card, a better camera and better graphics

i saw a pic that looked slightly, let me repeat, slightly better than the s710a, but that didnt convince me of jack, just one pic.
also, the sony screen is by far better.
another killer feature for the s710a- EXPANSION SLOT, EDGE, and streaming data.
you cant use the d500 as a bluetooth modem either.
lastly, sliders are the ugliest phones on the market by far. sorry chief.

Actually, when I held the S700 physically, it wasn't as large as I thought it was. It's kind of funny since I thought it would be too big... I'd been hoping to buy this, but the size was a concern... but actually in real life, it's much smaller than a blackberry and aren't much bigger than most of the flip phones in terms of width. I wouldn't hesitate to carry it in my pocket. It also didn't feel cheap and plasticky and had a good weight without being too heavy. I give it a thumbs up!

i am so sorry to say but the phone is huge and for you who think that the camara is better go take a pic with it then a d500 and compare than come talk to me but the truth is you guys or most of you guys have never held s700 or a s710 so you guys are betting "oh the screen is better cause its a qvga" thats not always right so let me restat something go to mobile-review.com they have about 50 pic taken from the s7, d5, nokia 76, and the sharp all the big mega pixals and those pics well show you that it has a better camara. oh and btw, yes you are right no expan. 1 bad thing, compared to it camara, it size, and the crap swivel

can you recomend a phone that uses the 850 band?or quad band? some us use the 850 band so instead of saying the d500 is unlocked,what do you recomend?

it all just depends on what you want. they have a nokia 7610 with 850,but that old tech now. i would also think bout the p777 from samsung,that one will be coming out the same time as the s710( which by the way i do know the release date. the real one and i am not tellin anyone) with all the new phones coming out every week, the s710 become more and more old tech. the other phoen i think is pretty damn sweet is the Mitsubishi M900, sonyericsson v800 now that is a bad ass and i know where to get it for less then 600. the O2 Xda II Mini is prety cool. these are triband and i think that anyone who just wants the 850 band should stay with this phone, but for me droping the 400 or the 700 dollors for this phone, i would want a phone thats not a p...
