Nokia 6255i / 6256i
Verizon Frustrated Customer!! WHO'S WITH ME?!?!
Ok..So they have the phone out on the NOKIA website with VERIZON writen on it and it says NOW AVAILABLE! Its available in Best Buy and RADIO SHACK..I Called both stores Radio shack talked 2 their verizon reps and they said they wont be bringing in anymore verizon stores cuz their contract is expiring with them. Now why doesnt Best Buy have them and WHY would they tell us they have them available when they ARE NOT?!?!?! Well I guess its never comming in. I have a Nokia now and I love it. My contract will expire in March and thats when we will get a new phone anyway but I thought y not get a new one when it comes out ya know? I dont mind payin the full price. lol..Anyway whatever just thought I should fill u in on what I heard.

My educated guess is that the sales reps everywhere don't want to say that they know when it's coming in bc people may not buy the other phones which have crippled BlueTooth OBEX profiles. -Lorna

Ok...Im fine with my phone honestly but its time 4 a change ya know? I miss having a flip phone and I refuse 2 get anything but Nokia cuz MOTOROLA SUCKS!! and Im afraid 2 do anything else..LOL..Im just ready 2 get a new one....If it comes out b4 Xmas cool...But if it comes out Jan or Feb ill wait till my contract is up with verizon so that way were eligable 4 a new phone..I think I may be eligable sooner infact. Ill have 2 go and see..Im not in a big hurry..I think that the sales people at Verizon were told not 2 say anything..at one point sum1 told me that by the holidays I think thats when all the new phones will come in..So I think it will be between Thanksgiving and Xmas..Thats my guess.

My AT&T contract runs out in January '06. I know that some Motorola phones are coming out in December, but I have been doing a ton of research and find that most people say that NOKIA HAS THE BEST RECEPTION OF ALL. This makes the Nokia 6256i look very good to me, since I know that my friend's Verizon works upstairs in my office.

I'm not a verizon customer, but i refer alot of my friends outside the US Cellular network to them. (i don't work for Us Cellular, just have alot of friends 😁 ) Anyway, there are alot of frustrated people from U.S.C.C. that have been waiting eagerly to get the Nokia 6255. For some reason neither of our Carriers have released it.... The waiting game continues.

I just had spoken a couple of weeks ago with a USCC rep out here in Iowa. They said it is "definitely coming"! So I'll wait patiently, (I hope!!!) for it's release!

I get that here in So. Oregon, but i am getting tired of being patient. I am going to buy a Kyocera SoHo, and then i'll just change that phone to one of my other lines when the 6255 finally gets here.

Battery life isn't the greatest. I had a Kyocera once...had to charge it almost daily. And that was with very little use too..
