PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I NEED SOME HELP DESPERATELY!!!!
I had a small accident and my T637 got its screen smashed. The phone works, but i cannot see anything.
I am in desperate need of my phone numbers and i had not updated my sim with all the new important ones, foolish me.
I know no one with this phone so i can use their menu and follow the clicks blindly on my phone, so i'd greatly appreciate it if someone would outline those steps precisely for me to save all my numbers on my phone memory to the sim so i can access them on a different phone from my phone.
I really appreciate this in advance and thank you for your effort, but this will bring me a huge deal of relief for I depend completely on this phone and the numbers it has stored in it.

Also, d...

Hi, I want to view mp4, 3ggp, 3ggp2 video. I know the t637 doesn't support it natively, but is there a java app that can do this? I'm searching for one but I can't find anything.

Please help!

Thanks

Sony T637..Nokia 6200 or Nokia 6010?

I am considering these phones, and would use the phone with the best rf performance. Being in business, I need a phone primarily for making/receiving calls. Any advice?

Why Switch over to GSM from Verizon?

Could use some thoughts here. I was thinking about changing over to Cell One from verizon, due to better phone selection. However, are they are any pro's to going over to GSM?. The coverage area doesn't seem to be as large as Verizon...and I'm told that AT&T, Cingular service sucks. Local is provided by Cell One, and roaming by the others. What to do?

T637 price fluctuation

I noticed that the price for T637 has been fluctuating between $0 and $99 online. Does anyone know when the phone will be free again at the retail store? I decided to wait on the s710a for now. Please keep me posted. Thanks.

Verizon...or GPS through Cellular One?

I'll be the first to say that I don't know jack about GPS. Why should I switch to cellular one that offers GPS coverage?...With Verizon, I dont really have to worry about getting a connection. Also, I've read in many mag articles that AT&T and Cingular had the worst service of any carrier. Someone please give me the scoop on GPS through Cellular One. Much appreciated

Cingular - t637 is Free; which glove is best?

I just rec'd my free t637 as an upgrade by extending my Cingular contract by 2 years. They throw in the car charger and wired headset too.

My t616 has become battered and bruised over the past couple of years, so I'm pleased to have the same functionality (and better screen) in a brandy new package. I tried the v551 but its software was infuriating compared to SE's.

Can anyone (Cing reps?) suggest the best cover or glove for this phone?

How Long?

Just out of curiosity, how long is this phone going to be with Cingular. I'm going to be getting a new plan with Cingular in August and was wondering if it will still be around or not. I would really like to get this phone then. But am afraid it won't be around. Please any info would be good to hear, also if there are any suggestions.

Where is USB port?

I have this phone and cannot figure out where the USB port is. Is it standard USB mini or do I have to buy an adaptor to connect at the bottom of the phone?

There is a small USB mini looking port at the top of my phone near the power button but I cannot seem to pop the plastic casing out. Is that the USB port or am I just crazy? 🙄

Coverage areas with the 637

I am a new Cingular customer and signed on with just one of their cheap phones but considering doing a trade to one with Bluetooth like this phone. I see it's a tri band phone but being unfamiliar with the new Cingular/ATT system thought they used different GSM frequencies, but I may be mistaken. Can someone help educate me a bit? What if anything am I losing by going with a phone like the 637 instead of the ones a lot more expensive like the Motorolas that are quad band? How often and where might a quad band phone be useful? Right now I can get this phone with rebate for only $40 so it looks like a good deal, but don't want to cut myself short.

compare T637 vs Moto V551

I've recently got the V551 but had been debating between T637 (no stores had a T637 to play with though). I like the V551 but it has some annoying features that have me thinking of returning before my trial period ends. Here's what I want to know about T637:

How's the reception?
Does it have a decent calendar/organizer features?
I've read about the M-mode button issue, does this launch M-mode even with the keypad locked on the phone?
Can you upload/download files using bluetooth (i.e. OBEX support)?

THanks

T637 Film on Screen

I just bought my T637 off eBay and picked it up local (yay for local pickup!!) Anyway... I love this phone so far, granted the camera isnt good for quality , its still handy, this is still a "PHONE"... anyway. The menu display is great, crisp color, etc... My only problem is trying to get this thin film off the glass. I've tried with EVERYTHING that I can think of to peel it away, I've had coworkers tried, no luck. Theres a couple parts of the film thats like peeled and makes it blurry in that area, its still like .0001% where i cant see well, but the thing is I wanna take this film off. I've heard that on SE, the film is pretty much impossible to take out. Anyone had any luck with this, and if so how can I remove it? Thanks!

Does anyone have experience with both of these phones and can recommend one? I can get both for free through cingular right now, but I'm not sure which I want.
