Motorola MPx220

I'm suprised to see that I do not have call-waiting by default. I will call Cingular and get it. I am also having another problem. Whenever my phone syncs with my Exchange Server or I am surfing the web, when someone tries to call me they get a Cingular error message. Will Call-Wating solve this problem, or does anyone else have any advice? 😕

I had the v600 and i had it stolen. I really didnt have any problems with it, so now i have a change to get the mpx220 for a great price should i switch...?? Thanks in advance. 😕

MPx220 can access WiFi?

So if I have wireless conneection, I can access the wireless connection using the MPx220 to surf the web & check e-mail?

Hi My-T-mobile contract is about to end in JAn(thank GOD) So I'm switching to Cingular, I'm Extremely Excited abt the mpx220... However, after hearing all these reviews I'm kind of scared. SO I need some help ? Are the Pictures really that bad compared to a Moto v300,v400,v600,v220.. My other Question is If I were to add a SD car will that increse the recording-video time? and how long is the usual recording time?..
Now What do you guy's who own the Mpx220 or the 7610(nokia)..Think I should get? which one's better..

I am thinking getting a Motorolla MPx220.

My question 1:
What plan I need to select so I will not get charge when I use my wireless connection at home, not the services provider? I do not want their on-going wireless services from them.
I just want a regular phone services plan like unlimitted talk after 9 pm & weekend.

quest. 2:
Is there a family plan on this, like I can choose other cell phone with this one?

question. What are the estimate of the prices & which provider are good?

I have had my phone since Oct 18th. It will not function as a modem. It will not retrieve pop3 email from my accounts. It will not access the internet from my bluetooth PDA. Also,Pocket MSN will not work on the Cingular system (Microsoft has acknowledged they are issuing a new version to support Cingular). After several consultations with Cingular tech support, they acknowledge they do not in fact support these data functionalities....but someday they will. If anybody has had luck with this, PLEASE help! I absolutely need this functionality for when I travel. I didn't plan to buy a $250.00 phone for voice only. Thanks. RickH4259@yahoo.com

After trying no less than 3 phones at Best Buy (all of which were recalled) I decided to try AT&T Wireless. They started selling the phones on/about Tuesday, November 16th to their business customers. I did not see it on their main site and have not checked in a few days.

I purchased my phone at a business discounted rate of $169. I received it on Thursday and can say that they have finally got it right. The phone I have is very solid and the volume is PERFECT. It looks like they may have also tightened up the battery cover, this was also an early issue.

I can now recommend the purchase of the MPx220 although just to be safe, if you can hold off for a while, do so. It may take some time to clear out the initial inventory of suspect ph...

i just got in the att version today the firmware is .343.

it has the volume fix, i dont know about the camera since this is my first 220. the phone comes in a moto box and its unbranded except for the persence of mmode

I am in the market for the Phone. I currently have a Nokia 6230 from Cingular. Love the phone. But am very interested in the MPX220 but not sure if I wanna drop that much money. Any incite would be helpful. Thanks! Jeremy 🙄

Does any body know how lobng you can record w/ the mpx220? and if u add the mini SD card does it add to the time? Also are the pics really as badas owbers say they are? 😕

What do you guys think? Have you ever ordered a phone off Amazon before?

Anyone know when Cingular stores will begin to carry the MPx220? I know Best Buy has taken them off the shelves and sent them for mods, is Cingular doing the same?

As far as I found out this phone has been recalled. Anyone else hear the same thing>?

I own an 04 Acura TL that has bluetooth built in to the car.

Will I be able to:

1) answer calls via the car's bluetooth connection to my phone

and

2) Make calls outbound via my car's bluetooth connection? I can tell the car to either dial a number directly or by persons name.

#1 is the most important feature.

Anyone have any first hand experience or knowledge about this?
