havent sent phone out yet, am I SOL?

I planned to get the phone out but have been so busy with the new house etc... havent had a chance to send it out. I think my deadline has passed, am I out of luck??? ☚ī¸

30 Days For A Refund Check?

I am getting very upset over this v710 settlement. I followed everything that was requested of me. I sent receipts and my phone back to Verizon. It was received on April 21.

I sent a few emails to the Settlement Advisor and they replied promptly up until the point where they said:
06/01/20006 Settlement Advisor said:
Due to the high value of your refund the check/claim had to be pulled for a final QC however we do expect to mail the check shortly.

It is now 47 days and they won't respond to my email inquiries. Anyone have a phone number or something that I can call instead of emailing?

Replacement phone question

Can we get our phone through the replacement site, then take it to a local verizon store and exchange it for a different phone? In other words do we have 15 days and once we get our phone can we deal with a local store for exchange or do we have to do all the dealing with the mail-in replacement stuff? I'm interested in the new LG 8300 but its not listed on the replacement page. Thanks for any help.

Exchange Situation - Any insight

I bought an i730 through my company discount about 2 weeks ago because my V710 would no longer hold a charge. My plan was to wait for the Moto Q to appear on the Exchange Site, order it in exchange for the v710, try both phones and sell the one I liked the least. The Q is on order, I was told by customer service this morning that it would be at my house tomorrow. I have already sent everything back to verizon for the v710, including the original v710 receipt and the printed order receipt for the Q, and if I get the Q tomorrow I will activate it and I should meet all the requirements for my June 6th settlement deadline.

Sorry for the long story, but MY QUESTION is: How long does the Q need be activated for me to get the refund check? C...

Anyone exchanged their replacement phone?

I got the Samsung SCH-A970 and it sucks. I want to exchange it within my 15 day period, but I am getting the runaround every way I try and get it done. Has anyone gone through this process and if so, how?

So since many of us HATED this phone after a few months...

Why would you buy another Motorola??? The v710 was my first AND LAST motorola. Aside from the software being a bit splotchy at times, the crapshoot of a camera (and don't give me the excuse that you buy a phone for the phone and not the camera b/c LG and Samsung have proven over and over that you can have a great phone AND a great camera), and the poorly designed battery charger, this phone did get very good reception everywhere and had pretty good customization capabilities. I hear the RAZRs (even the newer ones) are having some common issues with functionality as well. I ended up buying a vx9800 with my settlement and I've been all the happier. Lost my v710 before the settlement... am I SOL?

Almost 8 months ago I lost my v710 on the Mattahorn in Disneyland. I thought I was fine because I had insurance, but I found out it was only on the master account of my family share plan. Now, I have this v710 settlement letter sitting my desk with potential money that I could collect, buuuuuut I don't have the phone....

Am I screwed? Verizon has on record that I purchased the phone, isn't that good enough?

2 phones(710+other) ne2 and exchange...Advise please!

I have a family plan, 2 phones, a v710 and a Samsung started Aug 12 2004 The store rep I visited today told me my 710 is the primary line that's the one which can be used for the NE2 discount.

I was hoping to use the Ne2 to replace my wife's Samsung, and use the v710 exchange to take care of my phone. It seems that it can only be used one way on the other.

Does anyone have a strategy to get out of this pickle? I am thinking I should change my plan, make the Samsung the primary, then do the NE2 on the Samsung ,so I can save the v71O for the exchange.

Will this violate any rules or screw up the NE2?

Should I plan in buying a ebay v710 so I have one to turn in w/ my receipts? Does it matter the v 710 returned w/ receipts is the...

How the exchange program works?

I have an opprtunity to exchange V710. Can someone explain how the pricing works? If I buy a phone for $199 w/2 yr agreement, do I get that $199 back?

Man, does the exchange site S-U-C-K!

I've been trying to put an order through for 5 hours now:

Weird "Server SQL" errors

"An error has occured during the processing of your request" errors.

Gettting booted back to the beginning after making selections.

Pages "hanging" on load.

Pages reloading as if a selection wasn't made (when it was).

Getting booted to the "standard" VZW page ("Please enter your ZIP code/Promotional Code") after clicking "accept" for the TOS.

and

Getting stuck at "processing transaction" for 45 minutes after ALMOST making it all the way through.

I'm assuming I can tack $50 per-hour onto my settlement claim for this?

Receipts for V710

I don't have my receipts for when I purchased my V710 anymore (although I just read another post and will try to get reprints from the store). I still have my receipts from my Motorola bluetooth headset that I use. If I cannot find my V710 receipts, but send in my bluetooth headset receipts, will I still get $200 for my phone, as well as the extra money for my headset?

What accessories are returnable?

I know on the settlement letter it specifically mentioned you can return the following for a refund:

Extended Battery
Leather Case
Phone Tools
(something else that escapes me)

It mentioned nothing about bluetooth headsets. But, I'm reading here that you can return any accessory as long as you have a receipt. Is this really true?

710 swap possible at Verizon Store ?

Has anyone had any luck doing the v710 settlement exchange at a verizon store ?

I'm in the group that has to have the 710s in Verizon's hands by June 13 but I'm curious to see if they release the V3M on the first of the month. But that doesn't give me much turnaround time to receive the phone and return the v710 by the deadline. The safer way would be to do it onsite all at once.

Is it possible to do the swap at a store?

Do they make it difficult purposely?

Honestly, I was gung-ho about this settlement when I first heard about it, but the more and more I think about it, is it even worth it? It seems to be way overly complicated for what should be such a simple exchange.

Im not even sure what my options are, since I bought a new phone already. Im actually considering just keeping the phone as a backup incase I lose or break my v3c. This way i can just avoid the headache of all the paperwork and the limited options.

Maybe I dont know enough about it and I am just jumping to conclusions - tell me if Im wrong.

Got my check!

I chose the option to break from contract without penalty. Sent in v710 to Verizon on April 17, Verizon received the phone on April 19, got a full refund check on May 26, life is good. I'm in MD.

V710 Deadline EXTENDED!!!!!! June 18

The settlement administrator has said that all voucher deadlines (even May 31) have been extended to June 18!

Left out of the V710 Settlement?

The Problem: After receiving the original settlement announcement and sending in the form where I selected the settlement choice I preferred. I've heard nothing from anybody and apparently am not included in the settlement. I've sent a letter and two emails about this and have not gotten a reply to either.
????????????????????????????????????????
Does anybody have a:

1. phone number
2. email address
3. snail mail address

that I can use to contact somebody. I definitely do not want my V710.

I'm I Phase I or Phase II

From what I'm reading only Phase I gets the extension not Phase II. I do not know how to classify what Phase I'm in. All I know is my v710 return deadline is June 6. I received a settlement letter on April 7, and I'm in the Southeast. I really appreciate any help. I don't want to screw this up.
