Sanyo SCP-5400 / RL-2500

Sprint discontinued this phone last week (along with the Samsung A600). That's why they're 2 for $129.99 now. I suppose they're making room for the RL7300 and the PM8200. It's a shame. It's a good phone.

i was looking at the phone's specs. and it saids it has Txt messenging it this true or is it Sprints Shortmail???

Does the phone come with the Computer Connector or is it something seperate that you have to buy? Also, is it really easy to download ringers?

Stopped by the sprint store today. They do not have on display the on in Philadelphia, you had to ask for it by name, when I asked they said that because the Special release sale actually starts next week, and only the people who know about it ask for it.

The sprint agent told me that the 5500 will be out next week and it will be slightly larger than the 5400 due to the camera and the video capability.

I held the 5400.........whuuuuuuuyyyyy is it nice and it is not bulky. My contract ends in January but I miss the rebate by 16 days but maybe I can negotiate something 🤣

Does anyone know if this phone or the RL2000/SCP-7200 phone will be sold at Best Buy? Someone wrote that the RL2000 is available at Radio Shack and its listed on their website, but I can't find a store location that has it to even get a look at it. Also, sprint's site says these phones are only available through Sprint stores?? I have an older version of the RL2000 (the Sanyo 4900) which I bought at Best Buy and I want to upgrade with either the RL2000 or RL2500 but must do it through a BB store. Any help would be great.

Does anyone have any info. on this phone?? I would love to hear about this Sanyo I hope its like the Motorola i90cl that you can make a call using the speaker phone without opening the phone up. I hope thats why it has that 2nd large display. Also when does it come out and the Price Thanks
