Storing Voicemail Password and Killer Apps Question

Does anyone know how to store a voicemail password so you don't have input it every time you call to get your messages?

Any suggestions on the best app killer?

Thanks!

Is there anywhere besides Verizon you can buy this phone with a ONE YEAR contract?

I've always done a one year contract, and I noticed on Amazon.com they are offering the Incredible for $149.99 for a 2 year contract which is $50 less than what Verizon's website charges.

However, they don't have a deal for a one year contract. The price for a one year is $279.99 and it would be nice to find something similar (like $200 or $220).

Any ideas?

Switching Scenes

Does anybody know if you can take certain screens off a scene? For example,I prefer the vertical scrolling in the "social" scene for the favorites instead of the horizontal one. Thanks

Incredible doesn't playback wmv files

The manual says it supports 3gp, 3g2, wmv and mp4 video files. Mine won't play wmv. The sound plays normally but the picture freezes on the opening frame. These would be files that I copied to the D/I mounted as a drive. Tried different files from different sources, small size, large size, no dice. Verizon says they've heard about it but no response yet from HTC. Anyone here have any thoughts? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

1750 mAh Slim Extended Battery

I've had my 1750 mAh battery for about a week now, and I'm irritated to have to say this but it doesn't seem any better than the stock battery. I've gone through about 6-7 cycles and everything functions exactly the same as the other batter did.

I will probably send it back and stick with the original. I was hoping for some improvement, but doesn't seem to be working.

I'm sure it's also possible that i have something running that is draining the battery. But I've got a dark wallpaper, time out is quick, I don't have a ton of apps, etc etc. Should be fine. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Best Micro SDHC for Incredible?

I am shopping for a 16GB card for my incoming Droid Incredible. I've been looking at A-Data & Transcend which both offer 16GB Class 6 cards. Kingston also offers a 16GB Class 10 which looks nice and should offer a nice jump in performance. It is also about 40.00 more. I don't mind spending a little more though if it would be productive.

Has anybody used the Kingston? I am wondering of the extra speed would even make a noticeable difference in the phone. I am looking forward to the option of running apps from the card when Froyo is available for the DI.

Any thoughts on the best cards?

Outlook & Android: leave blackberry?

Considering jumping from blackberry but rely on Outlook sync. Already using Gmail so no worries with email but Tasks, Notes, Contacts, and Calendar. Can I sync them with the Android platform?
Also, Incredible seems just that but at end of day I need a phone...you know, the talk function! Is clarity and signal strength good because seeing some very mixed reviews? Thanks!

Availability

Was ready to buy this phone after researching and reading the reviews here only to find it's sold out?!

What's up with creating/advertising a phone you can't get?

Anyone know when it will be available again?

What are the reviews on not running the task killers as much?

Menno, I know you said you all do it about once a week now. How is this helping the battery life. Thanks all.

How good or bad are the Solio chargers?

I have researched them and I am looking to get this when I get me EVO. I am out and about much of the time, so I thought a solar charger would benefit me much.

Menno....Question for you.

I am thinking of ordering a 32GB SD card from China on ebay for the EVO 4G when I ugrade. Since you are the smartest, most informed person I do not know. What do you think about this purchase and the quality of a product that would $200+ in the states, but is $30 on ebay with free delivery.

HTC Sense

Hello everyone. I have had the Incredible for a couple of weeks now and yesterday my Scene's have disappeared. The choices are now all the same and the clock and sun are no longer present. Has anyone experienced that? Should I take it back?
Also is there a way to save a downloaded program to your sd card? I downloaded a program from Android market and it is no longer available. If I have to reset I do not want to lose it.
I know I am writing a book, but... from what I have been reading, Menno, you seem to be the most knowledgeable, is there like a list of apps that are "Must Need" to enhance phone performance? Thanks for any help!!

Crazy question I know, but the heck do I quit the Music Player?

For the life of me I can't figure out how to turn the darn thing off, there's no quit under the menu botton. I've been just hitting the pause button then using my app killer to shut it down.

Also, what video player do you guys use?

I love this phone.

Does it really make sense?

Does it make sense that the android designers created a system that unless you were smart enough to download some type of "task killer",or that you literally turn off every app immediately after using it,that its going to continue runing forever? I just cant believe that it was meant to operate like that. Is there some kind of internal timer that eventually shuts them down i'm missing? I find myself using task killer everytime i'm done using an app, that to me doesnt make sense.
