Storing Voicemail Password and Killer Apps Question

Zia M

Does anyone know how to store a voicemail password so you don't have input it every time you call to get your messages?

Any suggestions on the best app killer?

Thanks!

I believe that if you edit the *86 number that dials out to your voice mail you can.

I believe it's something like "*86,, your password". The commas are just for a short pause. You may have to use more or less for it to work properly.

As for app killers, I personally use "Advanced Task Killer". You can find it in the marketplace.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I can't get the stored password to work. I'm up to 10 commas now and still nothing.

I'll check out the Advanced Task Killer.

Thanks again.

Touch MENU
Touch SETTINGS
Touch CALL
Touch VOICEMAIL SETTINGS
Touch VOICEMAIL NUMBER

This will open the number up for editing.

They're not worth the hype. Most of the time they cause more harm than good.

I have one on my droid and I think the last time I used it was almost a month ago.

android 2.1 has an internal app killer that's significantly more efficient than ATK.

while ATK might provide a temporary increase in speed, in the long run it will slow down your system if you use it frequently. It can also lower battery life and cause apps to force close.
