I have a hard time hearing when I use the phone. I turn volume up all the way and still have a hard time hearing well does anyone know of a update that could fix this or some other way to make it louder.
i have gone back and forth but im getting on soon...soooo...which should i get? i know the price is wayyyyy different but i dont care....i have a few ?'s....
if i get the simply everything pack...which phone will be able to use all the features? b/c i read somewhere that you cant use the sprint tv premiere or the radio prem. on the centro? is that true? how about the navigation?
and i know this is stupid but the big ? is....how is myspace on the centro? i have been on myspace on the htc touch..not too bad
I don't know if this is a dumb question or not but its bothering me so I have to ask. We all know that magnets and electronics don't mix. But I see those cell phones cases the ones with the magnetic clasps those do seem to provide the most protections but can the magnet be harmful for a phone?
i am looking at getting a new phone and this is one of them. i currently have the samsung a920. I was curious to know if the key pad was hard to use. Also the center button, (the one that says "palm" on it) if that is easy to use as well.
the back lighting for the keypad went dim, and now just wont work at all. should i bring it back, i purchased insurance. its impossible to see in the dark. also, will my data be backed up with the sync if i use my computer??
I really do like this phone, but man has Palm faded. When the Treo 650 came out in 2003, it was hailed as a huge step for PDA's. Since then Palm has not made a single, meaningful update. Minor hardware updates in the form of a little more Memory. The Centro can handle a larger, 4GB card. But everything else is the same. The OS has a so-called update, but I have not noticed anything new with it. The bluetooth profiles are still the same that came with the 650. The Centro even has the hardware issue where the backspace key starts failing. I just can't understand why Palm can't make anything new? And what ever happen to the Colbalt OS? And Palm is so willing to make these pathetic updates and charge $500 a pop for them! And the shareholders ... (continues)
I have a friend who has this phone and she really likes it. I also like it, not just because it's a smartphone, but it's a lot smaller than the other smart phones out there. I am wondering if this phone will ever come to AT&T. I would love to see a GSM version of this device.
Does anyone know if the centro or treo 755p will have future GPS availability internally (not with telenav or garmin with external GPS receiver), so that i can use sprint navigator. maybe a software update allowing this? I know the touch and mogul will in a month or two.
Has anyone gotten the Centro to hotsync over the air on sprint's network? I checked "network" on the Hotsync on my desktop, I've got 14237 & 14238 tcp/udp open in our firewall, and I've told the palm to do a network hotsync, but it ain't happening. Is Sprint maybe blocking this? Did I not open the right ports? Actually, is there any way to verify the ports really are getting through?
On all of my old phones (actual phones, not a Palm or smart anything) I could set a simple alarm that would go off M - F and leave me alone on the weekends. Is there an easy FREE app to do this on the Centro? I see work arounds like setting up appointments in the calendar to go off on a weekly schedule and all of that but how about just a basic little alarm clock that I can use like I have on the most basic of phones these days. Wake me up for work during the week, let me sleep in on the weekend.
