Does anyone know how I could send text messages over 160 characters? I had a moto Q and it would automatically split up messages over 160 characters and anyone on any network would receive all messages...

I have had the treo 650 for 2 years. I am very happy with it, but want something a little smaller.
The Centro is perfect.
I will buy it for a hundred bucks and sell my treo 650 with the accesories on ebay for $150.00.

So I will have a new phone, smaller and lighter, and make 50 bucks.

I watch movies on my phone.
I listen to music in Stereo.
I use the Bluetooth. with 4 headsets.
I have a call record program to record phone calls & conversations.
Documents to go.
Email & web. ( I phonescoop on the go )
I have internet radio with Mundo. Free, btw.
Camera & Camcorder.
Backup Program on my SD card.
Color coded txt threading.
Wireless syncing with my calendar.

Last week I got a Centro took some pics and then had a hard time Hot Syncing, so I then Verizon told me to e-mail the pics to my PC then do a hard return.
After, Hot Syncing I have not been able to transfer my pics back to my phone, I wanted one of them as a wallpaper.
Can someone help me?

Not too happy. I had a Samsung phone before the Centro and am very much disppointed because there is no voice command in the Centro.

I was very disappointed with my new Centro. It does not accept 4GB card! I went to the store twice to have the 4GB replaced, still no luck. So I settled for a 2GB. With the 4GB, the Centro displays "No card is inserted" or something. I even called Sprint Tech support to verify that the Centro indeed is compatible with 4GB micro SD-HC. Tech support said that it does and it is on the specs. Anyone here using a 4GB micro SD? What brand? I bought/returned a Kingston brand 4GB card.

Hello. I just found out that the DTG on the Centro is only a trial version. When I was reading email from our Exchange server, there was a mail with a PDF attached. When I opened the PDF file, it presented me with "Activate" or "Continue trial version" pop up.

How do you setup Centro for IMAP4 access to email?

On the palm centro how can you change the banner that says sprint at the top of the screen to something else? is there anyway you can do that?

I recently got the TomTom 720 and could not link it for hands free calling with the Centro. Later found out Centro's Bluetooth is not up to par with most GPS units. Anybody have a solution for this? Nuvi's or TomTom's that work? Appreciate any help.

The multitasking commercial says this phone does chat. How do you get a IRC client into the phone?

I'm a big Palm OS fan, but how can anyone be impressed with seriously outdated technology? I have a Treo and like it a lot, but any modern expectations fall short.

Has anyone else had this issue? My phone seems to be suck on hotsync. I'll have to pull the battery out for a few minutes, and it'll be just fine, but I've also had a customer with the same issue. Is there a glitch? or some keyboard shortcut that's bein hit to make it do so? Any help would be great, thanks

I really want to switch to the Centro.
But before that, I wanted to know what kinds of file types does this phone allow you to have as ringtones?

Whether its mmf?
or mp3? I'd like to know before I can actually go ahead and switch phones.

Yes, ringtones DO affect on how I feel about phones. Im very picky. I want to set different ringers for different people you know?

On my LG Rumor, I am only allowed to set ringers from Videos i record. So I did it the old fashioned way. Recorded clips from youtube, holding my phone up and everything. It sucks.
But thats all I can do until I find a decent phone where I can make clips of MP3's from my computer and send them to my phone.

Does anyone know how to hang up on only one call when you have two lines. Like your on a call and some else calls and u answer and need to hang up with them to get back to the other caller. The only button I see is "Hang up all"
