LG Voyager VX-10000

I've read that the venus is able to send pictures, videos and sound from phone to phone via bluetooth, can the voyager also send videos, pictures and sounds from phone to phone as long as its user generated content like the venus can do?????

would be great if this feature was included on the voyager, also what other phones besides the venus can do this that are on verizon? i've heard that theres a few phones that are able to do phone to phone file transfers?

Has anybody used theirs out in the sunlight yet? How does the display look? This was always a problem with all my other phones.

(Myself Included) as soon as we get any info, we go blabbing it everwhere, whether it's right or wrong, and we refuse to be told we're wrong. For example, the gentleman who posted earlier who swears up and down the voyager does not need a nationwide plan, or the poster who claims you need the full $44.99 data package for the voyager. I love reading these posts cuz no matter what info a rep posts, no matter how many people have valid info to refute the original comment, the rep is always right. It's no wonder why people have misconstrued thoughts of vzw employees.

does anybody know what the deal is with a protective cover to put over the touch screen. i left the plastic on right now, but would much rather have something better. do they sell covers for the screen yet?

When you press your finger to scroll, use even speed and make sure you keep contact with the screen. If you should lose contact with the screen the phone assumes you meant to press the link and will act accordingly. To prove my point press down directly on a link but don’t release your finger, then scroll it should scroll instead of activating the link ;)

Both the internal and ear piece speakers buzz on my unit, anyone else experience this phenomena?

What kind of case, if any, are people going to get for the Voyager?

How come you cant edit your order online? I purchsed a leather puch for the phone, but I ogt the wrong one. I see that there is one made just for the Voyager and I wanted to change it.........

I'm not eligible for the NE2 or any discount until mid next year as far as I know. However, i pre-ordered this phone and got the $299 price.

.. use the speakerphone without using the internal button? it seems weird that you would have to open the phone before or during a call to activate the speaker then close it.

Does anyone know how to scroll to the bottom of the screen when reading an email on the mobile email without pushing the arrow button as it slowly moves to the bottom..takes forever. There has to be a way to go right to the bottom especially since you have to load additional pages of longer emails. Can anyone help with this or is it just not possible?

As for saying it stinks I for one think thats crazy. Ive had the iphone from day 1 and this phone kills that thing. The speed on the voyager web is not that fast, but try the iphone and you will change your opinion. Takes me a few seconds to retrieve my email where the iphone had to load for 30 seconds.

Does anybody know how to use the speaker phone with out opening the phone?? 😢

Honestly speaking I'm a little disappointed with this phone, out of 5 i give it a 3, to the people that want to get this phone, i would def recommend to try it out in a VZ store before.

Anubody manage to find any for this phone yet? The local VZ store thought they had some but alas, no luck.

I went to the Verizon store today to order a Voyager since they told me on the phone that none were in stock. When I got there, the salesman repeated that none were in stock and also said there would be a $45 monthly charge for full internet access on the Voyager. I told the salesman that the charge was incorrect but, after checking, he insisted it was $45. He started to ring up my order. A manager came over, looked over his shoulder, and said the charge should be $15/month. The salesman then disappeared in back and emerged with a new Voyager--no explanation. I don't know what caused the confusion but the end result was good.

Just got mine from FedEx. I was surprised to receive a data/USB cable standard with the phone. Had already ordered a data cable, now I have two lol. If that's ok by Verizon now, then how about bluetooth connectivity with our PCs?

So I would like to load in my backed up contacts from Bitpim. But this phone isn't supported yet. I have 1.0.2 and I tried vx9800 and vx9900. Anyone have a solution?

When you go into "manage memory" in the options in the browser and clear the cache,cookies,history the phone says it's cleared after celecting, but never resets back to browser. It's not a full lock-up, you have to hit the pwr/end key on the phone and it will take you back to the home screen. Anybody else notice this?

I went to the store at 10am and already they did not have any stock of the voyager. I then went to the circuit city and they had about 20 but were quickly running low by the time I got done!

NOW, I am using it and when using the bluetooth, it just sounds garbled. I have a Motorola 500 bluetooth. ANyone else notice this? My Motorola Q (which I had before this voyager) sounded crystal clear with or without the bluetooth!?
