i was just wondering if anybody is having problem w/ dust in the front screen?

i've had 9800 and 9900 and both of them had dust in the front screen after few months since i don't like belt clips/cases and keep my phone in my pocket all the time

any input would be appreciated

Does the Voyager's TV function work currently with Digital TV service? Digital TV will be the only TV service available come February 2009.

Bruce you seem to know quite a bit about phone. I didnt know until yesterday reading about the front screen qwerty key pad, was always wondering why phone didnt do that like the I phone. I tried in logging into my aol email and got it to work by tapping on the text on screen, then I tried again and again but couldnt make it work. What is the secret for bringing up qwerty and using it,mabe I read something wrong about how to do it? Looking for your advice or from the rest of you that might know the tricks. Thanks for any help. Im just trying to get an idea how much 2gb sd card can hold. I ordered the voyager and 2gb card from verizon tonight.. Im only going to really use it for pictures.. Maybe some music. If i ever learn how to copy dvd movies to my laptop then maybe the voyager but i doubt that cause it seems pretty hard to do that. So about how many pictures and songs can a 2gb card hold?

What is the purpose of the Media Folder located on microSD Card?
That Folder is created during the Phone Format process.
There are no contents.

so...this might be a dumb question but if i'm on my browser on the voyager and i'm using the external screen...is there a way to type in a username/search box, etc on the external screen or do i have to open up and use the qwerty keyboard?

I keep changing my mind on wheather i should get this phone or not. I have been reading threads and posts for the last 2 weeks about this phone. There seems to be a lot of things you need to download to get to everything you need to work well with this phone. I am clueless to half of the things. Iam going to list some things that i may use this phone for. If people would have any input that would great

1) I check my fantasty teams alot though out the day. I use yahoo for my leagues. Does anyone know if ill be able to check my leagues and use my live stat tracker as well to show the update scoring and standing of my fantasy teams? I believe yahoo is something the Java. I know this phone doesnt support flash so will i not be able to ...

What file format do I need if I want to make, or find on the internet, animated pictures to use for a background?

Can anyone confirm that Bitpim works for placing ringtones on your phone for the Voyager (version 7)? The phone I had before this one was The V (9800), so I never had any problems loading ringtones to my 9800 with Bitpim. Does anyone know if it's the same process for the Voyager?

I have now gone through 5 cases for my Voyager and settled on the Body Glove rubberized snap on case. I shyed away from this case at first for the phone because it seemed to add so much bulk to the phone, but after going through the silicone case as well as several different pouches (all which left some sort of smudges or residue on the screen), I went with the BodyGlove rubberized case.

It does add bulk to the phone, but it works both with and without a belt clip as well as normal if you just want to put your Voyager in your pocket. And now I feel like my phone is protected extremely well.

I just have 1 problem now: I was thinking of getting the extended battery, and obviously the bodyglove case will not work with the extended ba...

Hi All,

I did some research on this forum to see if someone had asked this question before I had, well, few people had. The replies varied from, no you cannot use the speakerphone while the unit is closed to YES, some people have it working..

So for those of you who said YES or those who know how to keep the speaker on while the unit is closed, please please share the how-to...

it is really annoying to open the unit just to use the speakerphone...

does it cost anything to get it?

I just activated my Mobile Email from my gmail account. With in the settings I checked for EMAIL ALERTS ... but have yet to receive anything. Would I have to subscribe to the sync plan in order for that function to work?

Has any one wlse noticed that VCast TV Plays better on the front of the phone then on the inside? I notice that there is sometimes a delay when playing on the inside.

Has anyone found an easy way to get these damn things on without having bubbles. I am tired of putting them on and getting bubbles. 👿

When turning on my Voyager, the Internal Speaker is always OFF. I always need to manually turn it to ON. Bottom right keyboard key.
I do not seem to find a way to set the Internal Speaker to be ON at startup without having to manually do it.
What are other users finding on their Voyagers?
Is this normal? Are they all that way? Is there a setting to keep the Internal Speaker ON when booting the phone?
Not a big deal but it would be nice for it to start up and not have to turn the Internal Speaker to ON every-time.
Maybe that's a good thing to have and I just do not recognize it!

Does anyone know how to adjust the internal keypad volume?

I have a lot of people that I work with and I keep getting a "group full" error when I try to add all of them. Is there any hack that will allow me to add more people to a particular group?

There was this one particular ring tone that was included on my LG V that I liked to use. I was wondering if there was a way that I could get the same ringtone on my voyager. Its not one of those corny songs, its an actual ring tone.

I had posted a couple threads earlier about video playback problems on the voyager. I dont think it is the phone - i could be wrong...If i were to watch a movie/tv show -- it'd play fine watching it from start to finish.....but if i wanted to skip, even a lil bit forward, or jump back ....the sound would lag behind the video. There would be a sync issue. If anyone has any advice as to what may be going on..it would be most appreciated.
