Motorola RAZR V3xx

what is the real reception difference of the razar v3xx being a tri band vs. the lg cu500 being a quad band phone?

I had the same issues and thought I got this linf from someone on this board.

I noticed that the Mobile Email allows me to check my e-mail if it's set up through either MSN, AOL or Yahoo. I have my e-mail account with BellSouth (now ATT). I would think that since I'm buying the phone from Cingular, that BellSouth would have been automatically one on the list of e-mail providers that we could use the phone to check our e-mail with using Mobile Email. Does anyone know if ATT e-mail will be added to the list? Any comments would be appreciated! 🙂

It seems that what wears the battery down the most is screen brightness. I tried this out after heavy, but not extreme, use of the phone one morning ran out the battery by noon. Next day, I moved the brightness down a few notches, and what a difference it makes. I don't really mind the only slightly dimmer screen, that thing was way to bright for anywhere but outside anyway! Try it and see...

Has anyone seen one up close and personal? Judging only by the pictures on the website, this color is quite possibly the most awful idea since sliced awfulness.

I have a Razr V3i which has an old Cingular SIM. I read somewhere that you need a 3G SIM which I think is 64K for a Razr V3xx. I think the one I have is 32K.

My question is if I buy a Razr V3xx from Ebay or an online store, must I upgrade my sim card to 64K. If I don't, what problems would arise? Would a Cingular store fix me up with a 3G sim without giving me grief about not buying the phone from them?

Anybody have this phone yet in Minnesoata? How is the reception since it's only a tri band? I had a w800 that sucked being only a tri band and was wondering if this phone is the same way?? Thanks for any replies.. Rox

The phone deactivates the speaker when you close it. Please help, is there any way to fix this? I love my phone but HATE this dumb "non" feature.... 😡

one thing that bugged me about my old razr... yea i had the original... was the fact that you couldnt display the date on the external screen. i know this 1 has a new UI so i was wondering if this was possible (p.s. i know the verizon ones do this with their UI) thanks

It seems like all the cool games that I want to get aren't supported for the this phone. I was hoping that someone would know of any decent games that do work with this phone.

Like some others here I'm about to give up on the N75 and was wondering if the Font size on the V3xx is adjustable.

I was messing around with one at the local Cingy store and at one point it had a font size so small I couldn't even read it with glasses (and I've got 20-20 w/o glasses).

Also any other comments from those who gave up on the N75 would be appreciated too.

I am trying to figure out if there is something wrong with my phone...or if I am just missing an important instruction.

When I enter websites that require me to input text....such as a google search...I am unable to enter any text at all. Nothing happens.

Every other area of the phone which requires text is working fine...such as text messaging or the phonebook.

I did notice that the V3xx is slightly longer and slightly thicker than all the other RAZRs. So any accessories (faceplates, fitted cases, belt clips) dont quite fit. pretty obnoxious if you ask me. For all of us who are upgrading from a V3, we have to buy all new accessories too! Why couldnt they just stick to the same size?

Anyone figure out how to do this? I can't seem to find the option if there is an option to do it. It would be weird if you can't. Any help would be appreciated!

i have no clue when it come to doing anything
but saying hello and goodbye...
some tell me you cant put your music on it.. only put you own ring tones.
i have a blue tooth...lolololol....
WHY ?????????? all it does is answer and dial..

I have waited in vain for the N75 but it appears to be a no show. I currently have a V3 and I didn't want to use my upgrade on another RAZR, but it looks as if I have no choice as my current V3 gets no battery life what so ever and I need a new flip phone.

I three questions I was hoping that some people might be able to help me out with.

1) Does this model use the same UI and phone book as my current black V3 which I purchased in 07/2005? I hope not.

2) Do Java apps run as slowly on this model as they do on previous RAZRs?

3) Can the speaker phone be used while the phone is closed?

I have songs on my microSD card but do not know how to use them as ringtones. I do not get the option of using any song for a ringtone.

How can I make this work?
