please help with verizon treo600 network preferences

Hi, I have a treo600 from verizon. I ran across a problem with the network preference setting. Aparently it is set to never time out, which in this case cost me $179.67 in additional data charges (accumulated within 23hrs because the phone didnt disconnect even after I closed the application which used the connection). Granted Verizon took care of it, but they also locked the setting where you can adjust the time out for a data connection. Does anyone know how to override the lock-out or how to adjust the network timeout otherwise. To find the settings on the treo go to the main screen, tap on prefs, in the top right corner change it to networks then tap on modify. Me and all the other treo owners who have this problem will appreciate any in...

Treo accessories...

Treo Accessories..

I was really looking for a good site to buy treo accessories.
I have visited too many sites but it all shown too much companies accessories and quite difficult to find the right product.

Now I feel lucky because I found a site exclusively for treo accessories...www.treotiger.com

To find accessories in that site is very simply and easy...
You don’t need to search too many sites to buy few products. You can find everything there.

If you are looking for an original treo accessories and immediate delivery, then you can also visit this site. This is the suggestion from me..

Thanks

anyone have FACTUAL information on the verizon palm phones?

thanks,

Alltel & Palm OS 5.1

I'm Alltel and will stay Alltel...maybe.

I use a Palm TE OS5.1 and like the Alltel Kyocera 7135 but it has Palm OS 4.1 and is about 1.5 years old Technology.

What is Alltel going to offer to replace this model (Treo 600???) and when will it be released?

I have a good buy ($320.00 & no contract) on a new Kyocera 7135 but want to stay on the tech edge. Should I wait?

Samsung sphi500 on Verizon?

I need a PALM phone and don't want to switch from Verizon. The Kyocera 7135 is not appealing; too big! Any ideas on plans for a CDMA i500 that Verizon would offer?

Any other (better) Palm phones on the horizon from Verizon?

Palm PDA Phones for Verizon?

Are there any rumors of any new Palm based PDA phones for Verizon? It appears Verizon currently does not offer one.

They do not offer the Kyocera currently because of some technical issues of the phone being able to work on the network.

WiKID Systems two factor authentication system for remote access & password resets

WiKID Systems has developed a unique two-factor (something you know, something you have a la an ATM card) system for network access. We combine strong, fast asymmetric encryption and Internet-enabled devices to securely deliver the one-time passcode to the device upon receipt of a validly encrypted PIN on an active account.

The WiKID Authentication system is less expensive, easier to implement and maintain and far more extensible than existing, hardware-based solutions (tokens, smartcards, etc), yet all the analysts we have presented to agree that it is as secure. We have already extended the system to handle LAN password resets, eliminating costly and frequent helpdesk calls.

If you are interested in testing the system, we are curre...

Ringers

Does anyone know of any palm phones in which you can turn off the ringer (including vibration); but still receive an audible alert that a voice message has been received. My business no longer has an answering service, so now any after hour calls are transfered to my cell phone. I would only like to hear my phone ring only if the caller is leaving a message. I know this feature can be used on Nokia phones.

Initial thoughts on Treo 600 - CDMA from Sprint

I am in love! My Treo 600 is a wonderful phone and MP3 player. I looked at the P800 but cannot stand the industrial design - that silly flip lid thing and swimming pool colors.

Some comments:
Would like the browser to tag spoof to allow access to occasional secure sites that refuse Blazer.

Would like the new (mob)Blog software for Zire to work on Treo wirelessly - just a matter of time. I use SnapperMail now to blog at www.textamerica.com

Favorite add-on gadget - a USB card reader for MP3 and file transfer to SD cards.

Sprint - what were you thinking not having Business Connection ready in time? I am using Visto MessageExpress meantime and keeping an eye on Good GoodLink if my company chooses to go that way.

Keyboard is small...
