A note about text messaging (Re: When is Verizon going to wise up? Pro's and Con's)
Just yesterday I got two messages that I did not ask for. One of them was from Verizon advertizing Get-It-Now and the other was inviting me to a text community.
The verizon message was free (I hope, since it started with "free msg.") but the other wasn't.
I am not necessarily advocating free incoming text messages (although it would be nice) but if someone received a lot of messages like my second one yesterday I can see why they would get upset and request or even demand free incoming text messages.

If you go back thru this thread, you will see my original post was written to someone else... There are "MANY" bad apples in here, not just one. I see very few Verizon employees in here posting considerate, thoughtful, polite responses to people who have posted complaints in this forum in the "small, slim hope" that Verizon would take note... Instead, for the *most* part (not entirely) what they received were rude, impolite, arrogant responses from Verizon employees...
Also remember, when someone calls Verizon for a problem, their impression of Verizon is based on their interaction with that employee. That employee's attitude is what they will know of Verizon as whole... If it is bad, they will think of Verizon as bad. If it is good, they will have a favorable impression of them. Overall, from the posts in this forum Verizon's attitude is VERY BAD!!! The Verizon people talk about AT&T having horrible customer service & then they make the posts they do??? Makes me wonder if they are not really talking about themselves...
Since the people in here are claiming to be Verizon reps, and you can see for yourself the rude posts most of them have made... Well??? What more do I have to say? I think it tells you a lot about where Verizon is headed, and it is definitely NOT good...

id go with the V505. im currently demoing out the v505 and previosly demoed the 6620. highlights:
v505 has better battery life... i get about 4 days on that and im a talker. lighter. protects keys from accidentally accessing mmode(internet) or calling. menus are the same for you or at least they're similar. red and green key located in the same place as your current moto.
6620 is a nokia...and thats a good thing. very durable brand. does streaming video-note that it can be expensive to stream that video of cubs highlights or movie clips...24.99 covers you with unlimited mmode and with this phone, you;ll need it. red and green buttons are in opposite position of motos so this may be a nuisance for you at first. alot of applications on the 6620 for business and planning/organization. my battery had to charged twice daily...but im a store rep and i show the phone or talk on it all day long.
both have bluetooth and a great speakerphone.
both are international.
moto is a bit cheaper.
