Does anyone have any information on the new fair and flexible plan that might be coming out in the next few months? I have heard that Sprint is testing one right now.

I've heard it starts out 700 anytime for $50, and $5 for every 100 extra minutes, but that may not be correct. laters 🙂

I dont know! But what I do know is the Fair and Flexible plan is a MEGA MEGA rip off! Do not sign up for that. If you got the cheapest plan they have and you go over the minute amount it is still going to cost less than the fair and flexible rip off plan.

You are absolutely right that the un-fair & flexible plan blows nuts!! 😡 This is only a plan for the stupid people who were tricked by the marketing ploy or too dumb to not go over their minutes. For example, the fair and stupid plan with 500 anytime minutes each month would cost a base of $55.00 as compared to a Nationwide free & clear plan with 500 anytime minutes at the much lower price of $40.00. So don't get the fair and flexible plan unless you cant count or just love to spend money.

Ready my reply.. It's not intended for people who use over 300 every month. If you KNOW you are going to use over 400-500 every month, you are better off with a 500 minute plan.

Oh really its gonna cost more.. hmmmm let me see.. If I was on fairl & Flexible and used 50 minutes over the 300, I just get charged $5.. If I was on the regular 300 plan and when 50 minutes over I'd be charged $20 in overage.. I'm seeing a Savings there of $15...

The plan is not intended for people who normally use over 300 minutes per month every month.. It's intended for low usage customer who may gover over every once in a while.

Ummmm NOT REALLY! U probably havent studied the plan exactly! You spend a minimum of $45.00 a month! So there is no savings! DUH! You should study it more before you open your mouth and say something stupid.

No one who types "u" instead of "you" has a right to call anyone else stupid.

Secondly, Fair and Flexible is only a base of $45 in certain affiliate areas. Everywhere else, it's $35.

Either way, the new two-option version of F&F is going to make this discussion obsolete.

F&F T1:
Base cost: $35 for 300 minutes.
Tiers are $5 for 100 minutes up to 500 minutes.
Minutes after 500 are $0.10/minute.
This plan may not be shared.

F&F T2:
Base cost: $50 for 700 minutes
Tiers are $5 for 100 minutes up to 2000 minutes.
Minutes after 2000 are $0.05/minute.
This plan may be shared.

Know your stuff. Kthxbye.

Thanks, I appreciate you having my back on this one.. I hate people like that. They tell ya you should know your stuff before you open your mouth, and they don't even know their own stuff.

That person doesnt even know that I was in the business of selling Sprint phones and service.

I don't have anyone's "back." I was just taking yet another shot at Internet illiteracy and clarifying the plans being discussed.

The NEW Fair and Flexible plans look great. Tier 2 is $50 for 700 minutes and the incremental increase are at 100 minutes up to 200 minutes........ with this plan 2000 minutes will only be $100.....

This will provide substantial savings for the high end user, and family plans.

This is a truly useful plan that should be very easy to sell....

The Tier 1, 300 minute F & F plans are more attractive as well, because of the change in incremental pricing.

Yeah the new Tier 2 Version does sount good.. The only thing I DON'T like about Fair and Flexible, is that even if you just go 1 minute over the 300 or 700 your charged the whole $5, and not just an overage rate.

yeah, but i bet if a customer who was infact only over by like 3 mins, called in to customer solutions or to a local store and complained, they'd get that amount creditted back to their account. well... let me be more concise: if a customer called *my* store with this complaint about one of their invoices, i'd certainly credit them. i follow the rules, but i'm also fair. plus, that customer will probably be way more likely to purchase additional products and services and refer friends and family when they feel like special treatment was extended to them. and how much money are you losing if you are a sprint rep and do this for a customer? none. if you note the account adequately and correctly there's not a thing wrong with it. i can't wait f...

Is rollover that big of a deal honestly? To me, if I was a salesman, I would tell the customer to find a plan that fits that costs less money rather than rolling over minutes that you never use. The new fair and flexible sounds interesting, but I have a retention plan that still trumps it.

Rollover is pointless to me. I look at it this way, you either going to use all your minutes and not have any to rollover or your most likely going to rollover minutes that you will probably never use anyways.

Fair & Flexible is a GREAT idea. It more like an automatic re-rate every month so that you never have overage! Which is basically what tons of people call in to have done every time they go way over their minutes.

AWS had something like this for a while but it never flew because everyone got such better plans if they took one with high overages. Don't ask me why. The starting plan was also $60 so that might have had something to do with it.
