Go to your Phonebook (on your phone) Then go to: Menu, Scroll down to "copy" Then copy "all" to phone (you can choose "merge" or "overwrite" until this day I haven't seen any difference in either -merge or overwrite. NOTE: By doing this; your contacts will show up twice. Just go back and delete the contacts without with icon on the right (those are the contacts in the SIM)

You see... I know that the Blade is better, but if others read that, we would get launched into another downward spiral of an argument to no end. But on another note... I would guess there already has been another hopeless consumer and/or idiots in here. You see every time there is an article about VZW the idiot kool-aid drinkers come out in force... I haven't even ventured into the above articles' discussion boards yet, for fear I will have to lecture the less fortunate once again!

Re: Anyone got ActiveSync via Bluetooth working?

in the Motorola Q forum

Here is how I got my Bluetooth to Sync with mi PC. :D I use WIDCCOM Bluetooth software version 1.4.2.10 1. On my PC right click the tray icon for BT > Advanced configuration. 2. On the Bluetooth Configuration window click the Local Services tab > click add serial service button in the lower part of the window. 3. a Bluetooth Properties window comes up (it might take a min or to for this window to come up) there should be a general tab and a notifications tab on this window on the General tab enter the name for your port default is Bluetooth serial port 1 or 2 if you already have one > check options startup automatically and secure connection > select the COMM Port that you want to use and click Ok. That should set up you BT serial port (ie. virtual port) 4. On pc right click Active Sync tray icon >Connection settings 5. make sure the Allow connections to one of the following option is checked and select the comm. Port that you just created in steps 2-3 click Ok. 6. On you Q start > Active Sync > Menu > Connect via Bluetooth > the Bluetooth manager window will come up select the Add option on the bottom of the screen this will search for devices when it finds your PC Select it and click connect your PC will prompt you for the connection by a popup msg in the tray bar click the msg and click allow connection. This will set up a connection between the Q and the PC 7. On the Q click the Sync option and the Sync will start if your Q has a password the Pc will prompt you for it t allow Active Sync to connect to your Q enter your password and the Sync process will start. NOTE: setting BT serial ports might vary depending on your software.. I hope this will help you guys out there! “This is a great place for sharing ideas” 8)

Everyone should note... "Fewest dropped calls" is an inaccurate measurement. All that means is: if you can actually MAKE a call, Cingular has the fewest dropped calls. Now, all things being equal, which carrier actually connects you to the other party the most AND does not drop the call? I would say Verizon is the winner.
