I need your technical help...
Here's my situation - I have a proprietary tech product that I am planning on introducing to the cellular phone market and I need some help. This is not a gimmick - I think this would be a great product, but I need some technical help.
I have the basics figured out, but I want to talk with someone who has professional, top-level knowledge of cell phone architecture/software/hacking and general hardware, ideally across multiple carriers. I'm not looking for someone to share any industry secrets, just someone who knows the industry and wouldn't mind lending some serious knowledge.
This is a real opportunity and would include the signing of a confidentiality agreement and potential reimbursement for your time and experi...

unlock Verizon CDMA Phones to download free apps.
I am well aware of Verizon Locking/Blocking free content, Java BREW OS games, and Bluetooth utilities... I know there is an option to unlock it from the menu. And I know I can hack it, and get WAP for free as well. But the main thing is I have BT and a Mac (in theory) I can sync w/ iSync via BT.
btw please email

Verizon Samsung SCH U740 hack
I would switch service, but just discovered this after renewing my contract. The last resort would be to get a new battery for my old Verizon phone which was supposedly lower tech compared to this snazzy Samsung, but actually waaayyyy better because it doesn't have the crappy Verizon firmware on all the phones now. It's really killing the experience.
I used to be able to text a message w/ photo to email addresses. Can't even do that now.
Can anyone please help me hack my Samsung SCH U740 and get rid ...

IM Messanger on e61i
I recently acquired ( was given) a e61i and noticed that there is an IM feature.
Since there are now several users at my work using the same model telephone, I would like to be able to link them all together and I think that IM feature is what I needed.
Anyone know what protocol this IM uses and if there is a server software available for Linux?
Thanks,
David

AT&T reaches record speeds
"AT&T confirmed that it spent $50 million to improve its EDGE data network just before the iPhone goes on sale later today. Before the improvements, AT&T reported that its EDGE network delivered speeds between 75-135 kbps. After the improvements, users can expect up to 200 kbps. Phone Scoop achieved EDGE network speeds of 149, 176 and 250 kbps in tests conducted through DSL Reports. The operation was called "Fine Edge," and the speed boosts were achieved, in part, by adding T1 lines to base stations. Update: Verizon Wireless has finished upgrading ...

Questions about development
First off, is there a phone with a Web Browser, GPS, with access to a SDK that accesses the GPS?
Second, does anyone know of any 3rd party SMS services that would allow sms messages via a web server?
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Calendar Sync Phone2Phone without a PC.
It's 2007, cell phones are in millions upon millions of peoples hands, and bluetooth technology has been out for a couple years now.
Is it too much to ask of some forward thinking, entrepreneurial software developer out there to write some code that will sync calendar entries with another phone either via a bluetooth or infared signal?
How convenient is this? My wife and I have very busy schedules. When we see eachother sometimes its only for a short period of time. It would be extremely convenient to push a button to have my calendar entries appended to her calendar, and her calendar entries appended to my calendar. Would work for your kids phones too!
Nobody has time to plug a phone into a pc, upload the ...
