Samsung SCH-530 or Audivox CDM8600?

I am in the market for a new phone and wanted to know which an all around better phone. I have made feature comparisons (on this site and vw website) and still cannot decide. I have not gone into a store yet (dont worry im not making a decision off your replies, I jsut want opinions)so I dont have any other experience with the phones.

All i want are what Verizon Wireless employees and owneers of the respective phones think.

PS- I currently own an Audiovox for about 18months (and it is my first mobile phone) and I am very happy wiht its durability although my vibrate has begun to malfunction

One more questions, are their any other phones within the $120-150 range that is ESTIMATED to be released before xmas, that may give either pho...

Good Job Verizon... All we need now are better plans

You have great service but you truely need better plans that benefit everyone not if you just in verizon network.

With the new Moble # change and price drops in cellphone cost everything is looking good.

Room for Improvement:

1. All plans need to drop atleast $10 per month.

Question for the VZW people

Okay, this might be a stupid question, but its one thing changing about the phones and Verizon's system that I have yet to grasp the advantage of. With the new phones coming out being all digital and the system becoming all (or mostly) digital and PCS, I don't understand why that would keep Verizon at a competitive advantage. When people ask me what sets Verizon apart from the competition, I say its our network and the fact that your phone has three different ways it can get a signal, instead of just one or two. I feel like taking away the analog in certain situations is not a good thing. I realize that analog drains batteries faster, and that the crackly, poppy sound is annoying when in that mode, but at least you're getting a signal. S...

Is there any way to get an i500 to work on Verizon’s network?

Can anyone tell me if a phone (Samsung i500) that is built for the sprint network and is the same frequency as Verizon’s network (CDMA 800/CDMA 1900) can be activated to work on the Verizon network?

I’d like an i500, but I need to be able to use it on Verizon. Yes, I know about the i600, but would prefer the i500.

Thanks.

SCH-A610 Speculation

I found this link to a rebate on the Circuit City website, so I guess we can infer that this phone should be coming out soon? 😎

Anyone got any LG-VX10's ?

I know there are some Verizon Wireless employees here. I'm eligible for a free upgrade on my account (Have been using the Startac for over 2 years) and had wanted a LG VX10, but it's now discontinued. I know I could buy one from Ebay, but why should I pay for something I could have gotten for free (had I decided to upgrade earlier...) I was just wondering if any of you had any VX10's sitting around, or if they were all just sent back to the warehouse or however they do it. I've called a few VZW stores in my area (NYC/Westchester) but no one has any.

Thanks!

Verizon Service in NYC

Guys and Gals, I need some help here, I'm a current Nextel user ☹️ and I hate the service. I'm trying to find who - Verizon or (Dare I say it here) T-Mobile - has the better service.

What is your experience with the service of Verizon? how is it in the tunnels of NYC - Midtown, LIRR, etc. How is it in the malls of Long island, Queens, Manhattan, etc.

What phones of Verizon get the best reception?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I'm new to the forum.

TIA, for your input!

Help!!!!!!

Can someone tell me how verizon coverage is from Ocala to Gainesville to Lake City, Florida?
I have heard a lot of bad things, like ATTWS doesn't have coverage in these areas. And T-Mobile is okay along I-75, Cingular lost a law suit for 12 million dollars. And Sprint has the worst costumer service.
That leaves me with Verizon. If you can help me in this matter, I would be grateful.
Also can you recommend a good phone that has great reception that includes Analog?
Thanks!!!! 🙂

ATTN: Verizon1

What is your opinion on the VX4400 vs. the T730. I want to get one or the other but I get mixed reviews about each one. The T730 seems kinda cheap but the display is bigger than the VX4400. What have you noticed about these two that you would say makes one stand out over the other?

ATTN: vzwdwt

Do you know of any new Samsung phones besides that rotating camera phone that are coming out soon. I see there is one that is a flip with no outer display and I am interested in that. I just would like to get a time frame on it.
