Question for everyone.

Is everyones quota the same? I work in a store. I need to make a certain number on a lot of things. EE, verticals, activations. Just wondering if everyone is the same. Or if they have the same quota as retial does.

Issues anyone?

It's so weird, I've had 3 people come in to me in the last couple of days and their phones all say "No Service". Now someone on the forum said something big was going down in May, is USC working on it now and maybe some people are just getting glitches? Anyone else having issues like this lately?

8910s are here!

Finally. Not that I'm too excited about this phone, but our lineup was looking a little empty lately! We still need to get in some decent non-camera flips, we only have the V262 now ☚ī¸

Local usage vs Extended Home Service

I'm having a problem understanding the way local usage and extended home calling is defined. I currently have the 650 regional plan w/3000 regional N/W mins with local call me mins. I use my phone over 95% of the time within USCC network or at least my phone tells me I'm not roaming as well as the map depicts my area as local coverage. Now, here's the confusion on my part. Local coverage should be local usage and not extended home service, right? However, my bill reads 95% calls made/received in extended home calling area and 5% local, so that makes my local call me mins useless. The only explanation that I can figure is that I don't live within the same city as my wireless number, but my area code is the same and it's a local call for me. ...

Make use of your call me minutes

I am just letting people in on an idea to make the most out the call me minutes. When you are calling home, friend, ect, call and let the phone ring 2 times and have them call you back making the call free. This is what the people I know are doing, they tell me when they call, to not answer and call them back, that way they get the call free of airtime. I know you cant do that for every person or place you call, but, that can make up a huge difference at the end of the month if you do it with the people you call the most, this is the reason I got a USCC phone in the first place, and I may keep it, still in the 30 day trial.

If you are a business, I cant imagine what the call me minutes would do for you, your customers can call and it w...

why does USCC do this

I just signed up for service with USCC, I just wanted to do a year contract, willing to pay more for the phone, and I am told that I can not get the call me minutes if I dont do the 2 year contract. WHY????

that makes no sense, I did a 2 year contract, but, I am planning on turning the phone back in and shutting down the service just because I do not want to be committed for 2 years, and a few other reasons, but this being the main reason. I know, I will hear that why did you sign up in the first place if you didnt want to do a 2 year contract, at the time, I thought maybe I could live with it.

IS there a way I can call in and downgrade to a year contract and keep the call me minutes? If not, I will be shutting the service down....

Does anyone think they're actually complimenting us?

OK, in my area, everyone compares USC to Cingular or Sprint. A lot of people say we can't compete with them because of their "National Coverage." No one ever compares us to Edge Wireless or some carrier who actually is at all similar.

Cingular and Sprint are National Carriers, the fact is, USC is trying to expand their local coverage but just can't because they're not as big as these other guys. Isn't comparing a regional cell service like USC with National carriers like Cingular, just a compliment?

Anyone with me on this one? Make sense?
