Unfortunatley I have dropped my Q. It popped out of the holster while getting into my truck. It fell onto asphalt, hitting edge first, and then skidding about a foot and came to rest screen down. I was afraid to pick it up. The phone suffered only minor nicks and scratches on the lower and upper right corners where it impacted the pavement first. The screen was not damaged, and the phone functions perfectly. ...

A standard 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo adapter will not work. The jack on the Q has three inputs, left and right audio, and microphone. Although it can't be found on Motorola's website, they do make an adapter. Search for this part number and you will find many resellers online (SKN6183).

The voice recognition app does take noticeably longer to load than my e815, and at first was completely unreliable. The only problem I had with the 815 was between two similar sounding names "Grady" and "Randy", it would get them mixed up about 20% of the time. When I transferred my contacts to the Q the voice recognition did not perform well at all. But after changing the "file-as" setting within Outlook to delete the company ...
