Earthwormjim, This is off subject, but when you bought your phone off of ebay, how did you get it to work? Did you just take your current sim card and transfer it? or did you have to go to the Cingular store? I had a 5600 but wanted the upgrade of the 2125. It is nice but the accessibility of the large font is only in the settings list. I am looking for another 5600 but it looks like my ...

japhy, Thanks for your offer of assistance. I have resolved my problem. Here's what we did... Since I had only been with Cingular for a week, we changed my contract from 2 year to month-to-month. That way I could upgrade with phone sales. I had the phone delivered to the Cingular store so they could be assured of receiving the original phone. I then switched to a 2 year plan. Better watch out what you wish for. I think that the ...

How to keep my number?

My Sprint contract ended last week and I had to settle for the Audiovox with the understanding that I could bring it back in 30 days if (when) the 2125s come in. I see the 2125 on the website but it is not in the stores. Here's the problem... The company rep told me that if I bought the phone on the website I can't keep my phone number. He said that the store cannot help me with the activation ...

Check out this website for freeware. http://www.airfagev.com/ I haven't tried any of what they have to offer. I found the site tonight and have been browsing the ringtones. I would be interested in feedback if anyone has used this website to know if the applications are reliable. :)

Was the 6682 pulled off the site and then returned? How long was the wait? I have been waiting for the HTC 2125 and it was pulled off the site before Christmas and I am waiting for it return.

Mike, Here is the "official" manual. http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s ervlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId =10001&productId=13758&langId=-1 (If this doesn't show as a link go to wwww.audiovox.com, select wireless phones, select GSM phones, and it is at the bottom of the list. Click on the phone and you will get to the site listed above.) :D

I have been waiting for the 2125 to be in the stores after Christmas. When I went to the Cingular website... it's gone. What gives? Anyone got a clue?

manufacturer/owner's manual

in the HTC 2125 / 2100 (Faraday) forum

Who manufactures this phone? It seems to be the new and improved Audiovox, but this one is not listed in their website. I checked out the HTC site and it was not on that site either. I also "googled" Faraday, etc. I still don't come up with usable info. I generally will download the manual before I make a purchase. I cannot find the manual on the web. It concerns me that I may not get any company support. I ...
