Problem with the service or phone??

Does anybody have problems with the VZ service or the 8330, I have the curve, but for some reason for the past 2 days all I hear is a lot of static on the line, I'm not sure if it's the phone or the VZ? Can any one help? :o

What you should do is find the 800 number in the forum, call it. once you get the rep on the phone tell them that u want to order the bb curve, my rep was very helpful and he got the order in. good luck

Just placed the order this morning over the phone for curve on VZ, just got the email that i was shipped. Yesssssssss :lol: :D :)

Thanks, no don't worry about it, it's cool, it looks hard to install but i was just wondering does it really work like the iphone? but what i found out is that it makes the phone run slow. Maybe ill try to install if i have 10 hours to kill..lol.. Thanks again.

I'm trying to upgrade from blackberry 8830 to this VX6800, can anyone tell me is there any difference between the phones? or they are they same? Thanks,:)

scrolling sucks, the web is slow, it just looks like LG put a touch screen phone together fast enough just to compete with the iphone, i don't think they gave it much thoughts. this phone is def not an Iphone killer like it was said. I'm just saying before buying it, play with it in a VZ store.

Does anybody know how to use the speaker phone with out opening the phone?? :cry: Honestly speaking I'm a little disappointed with this phone, out of 5 i give it a 3, to the people that want to get this phone, i would def recommend to try it out in a VZ store before.

try calling the 800 #, i had the same thing, CC charged but the web is not updated. Call them.

I just talked to the rep and she confirmed my CC # and said that the phone will be shipped out today i should get it tomorrow, but i keep checking the web and it's telling me "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days." hmmm i hope i get tomorrow, I'm tired of calling them every day. :x

I placed the pre-ordered on the 11th, i keep checking and all i get on the web is "your order is awaiting approval or phone availability. Please check back in a few days", I called my CC to check if VZ took out the money and no transactions have been posted, anybody else get that?? Thanks, :(

The phone will work fine, the only problem is Nextel account will show i830 as the active phone NOT i880 because your sim card is from the old phone, so if you have insurance and you make a claim they will send you the i830 or i835 not the i880 :D

Yes Cingular has p2t but it's only available on 2 phones for now LG and Samsung. Motorola should come out with some P2T phones soon.

I had some time on my hands and decided to call Cingular about the L7 and the PTT option. I talked to 5 reps. 2 Had no idea what is a SLVR L7 1 Said he can't say anything about SLVR L7 1 Said PTT will work for SLVR L7 1 Said no PTT will not work for SLVR L7 only on Samsung and LG. I think they are very confused!!! 8)

It does? Where did you get it from? B/c my phone is from Italy and the manual tells me to go to options to turn the Ptt on or off, but I have no Ptt setting at all. 8)

Yes, I have the same thing, I also get a txt message after I listen to my voice mail. I had the same problem with my black razor that I got from Europe but I was able to erase it. What you could do is do a reset but it's a pain b/c all your setting are reset. So, just try to get used to it. 8)

Does anybody know if you get the slvr L7 U.S. for Cingular (Wireless Imports has the Cingular branded one) will the PTT work? Because I have the one from Europe and the PTT is not working? 8)

I have this phone, it's from London. It was purchased from Orange Carrier which is like Cingular in the States, uses the same Network. Then again he is not displaying a screen only a pad, I could get a Nextel Pad, doesn't mean it's a Nextel phone. 8)

I have this phone from UK to work for cingular (it's unlocked) does anybody know how to set up the PTT, the rep said that it will not be supported by cingular but I seen people use it? :roll: Happy Holidays!
