You sir are thinking of Hot Spot Unlimited Calling which is a different service than T-Mobile @Home. @Home is a landline replacement for $10.00 a month that gives you unlimited local and long distance calling, great for kids or grandparents without cell phones. Unfortunately @Home is not available for customer on the current FT Unlimited or the new Loyalty FT Unlimited.

Actually our store has this phone and we are an at&t agent. I wouldn't recommend it though. Better off going with the new moto for only $20.

I've been talking to a few people from California on Howard Forums and they mention that LA has had 3G for a couple of months now. I just finished a coverage search for California and I found 3G service in LA, Fresno, Bakersfield, San Diego, San Jose, and Sacramento. So next time you fill like ...

FACT: Cingular has had 3G coverage in Saint Louis since November 2. I am currently using a LG CU500 and a Samsung BlackJack with absolutely no problems. Next time check your facts before posting.

Not true. W-CDMA is not based on current CDMA techonology. It is not capatable in any way with current CMDA technology. It is actually based of GSM technology. If you would of done a seach on the link you provided you would notice if you did a search for W-CDMA or WCDMA, pretty much all the results will be about CDMA2000.

Is the a reaction to Cingular testing unlimted mobile to landline in select markets? Just think with the merger a Cingular customer could call anyone with an ATT landline unlimted, for a fee of course.

Maybe you mean the LG CU320 and not CU500

I haven't personally heard anything from the Cingular LG rep or from anyone else for that matter about a LG CU500. I have seen and actually played with the CU320. I was told by the LG rep that this should be the first 3G phone available on the Cingular Network. The Nokia 6282 should of been first but was pushed back due to the fact that the original version did not have the capabilities of receiving ...

Reception is something that varies on all handsets. I don't care what brand or model. I had horrible problems with the V600 back in the day but generally no problems with the Razr, only to see reception problems again with the Slvr. The first thing you want to replace if necessary is the sim card. I highly recommend a new 3G sim card made by Oberthur and not Gemplus. Not only are these the newest sim ...

Considering the success of the LG mp3 flip phone that is exclusively available at BestBuy stores only, Cingular needs this phone. I believe BestBuy only had a 90 day exclusive deal with the LG but due to its success they are extending that. So the sooner Cingular picks up this phone the better. Although I am not a big fan of the keypad or hinge. The Z520a is a much better phone IMHO.

I agree with you on the reception. For me reception has been nothing but flawless. In the past two years I have owned the SE T616, T636, Z500a, S710i, Moto Razr, V600, V551, SE Z520a, LG1400, Moto Rokr, and the W600i. Out of all the phones above, the W600i and the Z520a have gotten the best reception by far. Another review I read also mentioned reception issues. That reviewer, like the reviewer at Phonescoop, used the ...

I curious about the reception problems. I've read a couple of reviews on the SE W600i and both mentioned reception problems. Both reviewers were also using the phone on T-Mobile wireless service. So I am wondering if the reception problem has more to do with the 1900mhz frequency T-Mobile uses rather than the phone. I previously owned the SE S710a on the Cingular Network. The phone was great but the menu system was slow and the ...

Myt610.com is a site dedicated almost completely to themes for Sony's. I just received my new Sony W600i yesterday and it has custom faceplates that you can design on Sony's website as well as 4 pre-loaded themes.
