My Garmin XT was working fine on my Nokia N95 (model N95-3). Lately, within seconds of satellite connection and ready to navigate, the screen saver comes on and blocks the map; It happens even if I am driving. It was working properly without this issue before - something changed - not sure how to get to back to prior condition. I appreciate a solution to fix this.

Hi I installed GarminXT for North America and it works fine. What is the benefit of the Nokia Maps? Is this duplicate? Does the Maps also offer guided navigation as long as you download the Maps etc and install them? Also how do you enter Flight Mode? Thanks

It worked once - then I updatd the firmware. Now I am trying to do it but unsuccessfully - I forgot the exact steps that I followed the first time. Could you help pls?

I bought a N95 - I need a good protection for it. Is acrylic better than silicone? I am on the conservative side - so be biased in recommending it to me. I will also be looking for software/apps - GPS, etc. Pls give me your recommendations.

I have been with a 6230 on ATT. I might buy a PDA/smartphone including used one. What model should I get? For eg. I heard N95's GPS is not very functional. ANy other ones? I also use the "Compare" tool for average score on phone scoop - N95 has better score than 6230 despite of poor GPS.

4-yr w/ ATT on Nokia 6230 - what's next?

Hi I joined ATT (CIngular) in Feb 2005 and got a 6230. Now ATT wants 2-yr contract! What is the best strategy for me? Is there a better rate/company than ATT? I also get rollover. What phone should I go for? I am interested in a PDA. Is Sprint any good? Thanks

Hi I will be unlocking my phone tomorrow. How do I set/chnage the VoiceMail tel no to button "1" As it is if I press button #1, it will dial my Voicemail to retrieve messages. After unlocking it, I am going to change the SIM. Thanks

Hi I am looking for a phone to buy and currently uses Nokia 6230. Compared to a Motorola I had, it doesn't beep periodically, if I miss a call. Also reading the display might be tough. I am looking for SIP capable. Also somewhat a PDA oriented with To Do list etc. Could someone recommend me one? I have looked at N95 and also lower priced ones. Ideally, I might want to spend $300 or less but ...

Hi I don't have data plan on my cell. Does this mean I can only use GPS when I have WiFi access? I am a bit confused! Which Map(s) are free? I am a starter to GPS on mobile phone - Can I use Garmin maps on it too? Pls clarify me. Appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi I am looking to upgrade; I prefer quad band GSM; Also, I would like features compared to 6230: - ability to read the screen in sun light - if I miss a call, phone periodically beeps (I had this on a Motorola phone) I heard of N95 with GPS - I am also looking for something less expensive - we have a family plan. Any recommendations

Hi My Cingular contract is expiring in Jan 07. Is there any accessories to make sure that it will become WiFi capable? If I am buying E62 outright, what is the best price and where? I am interested in this Nokia E62 - SHould I buy the phone and use it or should I buy it at Cingular or wait for the contract to expire and then buy it at Amazon. Hi 1) Can U read the display under Sun light? 2) Say U leavt it on your desk and you missed a call - will it periodically beep - so when you passby, you will hear it and you will know that U missed a call? If this phone doesn't have it, can U recommend another phone that has these features? Thanks

Hi I use Nokia 6230 with Cingular Cons: - If I miss a call, it doesn't beep periodically - Can't use the display in Sun - Small screen I also need 850 band - So I found Sony Ericsson W600i. Would the Sony Ericsson W600i can do - If I miss a call, it beeps periodically - use the display in Sun Anything else or any other phone, I should wait for? Thanks

Hi Can I also use rs-MMC? How Big can the memory be, 512MB or 1 Gig - I like to buy the memory so tht it is something that I can use it on later versions of the cell phone, not just price? I found MMC is being outdated at retails shops, say BestBuy. Also what brand works on Nokia, ScanDisk, pqi? Any good place to buy?
