Hi

I don't have data plan on my cell. Does this mean I can only use GPS when I have WiFi access? I am a bit confused!

Which Map(s) are free?

I am a starter to GPS on mobile phone - Can I use Garmin maps on it too?

Pls clarify me. Appreciate it. Thanks.

If you don't have data plan, you can still able to access the internet to download your maps ahead via Wifi. http://www.smart2go.com look for Map Loader.
The one comes with N95 is free but it just performs average. I recently install Route 66, its a much better GPS map apps. It locks on much quicker as well.
For now, only Route 66 v7.3.486 supports N95 internal GPS. TomTom mobile would requires you to have a external bluetooth GPS receiver. Not sure about Garmin.

I am a newbie, so pls give some extra help:
1) What is exact download location for Route66 pls?

2) Where do I download the updater?

3) What is meant by "sis"?

4) Are there any activation etc to be done? How?

Thanks
