Re: HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD ANYTHING BAD ABOUT "METROFLASH"???

Like Marv said, some phones only do voice and text, so have more. The Sprint Samsung Instinct can do the web, but NOT picture or mms messaging. But having the web lets me get games, apps and ringers, so I'm completely happy with that. And the full web browser capability is amazing.

They'll get there. T-Mobile is still relatively new, and i've heard NOTHING but bad things about it here in florida. At least with the other major carriers I can get a signal...

Thats right.. but we get paid on insurance. AND roadside assistance. We give our customers a sheet explaining the benefits of roadside and stating that they are receiving a free trial and how to cancel. Most people find it such a good idea that they don't cancel it. (and they aren't being lied to since the paper explains it)

No offense but GSM gets lots of love. GSM phones are normally *always* cooler than cdma phones. It took them forever to come out with a razr on cdma... and Sprint just lags behind everyone, coming out with the A900 "blade" this past christmas. Also you guys have the slvr and itunes on your phones. And the list goes on. I think GSM gets plenty of love. I think you can live without a Treo.

I think this is the greatest idea-r i've heard in a long time. But i doubt its like a stool cushion. Its probably more like a mouse pad. Or to throw us all off, it could be made out of hard plastic.

Very easily. If each phone is just going to do ONE primary function then it will do that function VERY well. If they make a gaming phone, with a vga camera, then its going to be a more powerful game phone then if they had to cram in a 2mp camera and bluetooth.

Sure you will save money on your bill, but someone posted earlier that they will end up raising the costs of the cellular services, then offering you the low rate (which would be about equal to what you pay now) to watch the video ads. In the end its just going to cost your more.

Good to hear your switching to Sprint. Alltel did something similar (maybe it was nokia's fault) with the Nokia 6255i. With the newest update they fixed the MMS sending but took away the games and collections menus, which held user installed games and programs. You could still download the programs from alltels Axxess Apps...

Sprint (at least 3rd party reps) has/have the capabilities to Zero out the social. Thus causing the credit check to come back with a 150 deposit per line. Quite easy for anyone to get a Sprint line.

Well considering you have to be 18 to get a cell phone, its targeted at the youth. Also a good target is tourists who only want a cell phone for maybe the 2 or so months they are going to be here. And also elderly people who don't use the phone often.

I currently work for Sprint here in SouthWest Florida and haven't taken advantage of the employee plan because I personally am not a fan of the phones we have. If i had to choose right now i'd probably go with the Samsung A880 or A800 or the Apache/6700 These two new Samsung phones for Sprint are just about enough to make me want to switch over to Sprint and cancel my current (and beloved) Alltel service. Maybe Alltel will release a ...

I don't have a menu option 11... it says invalid shortcut.. same for 12.. but when i try 13 it says Invalid Menu (stop sign) So i'm thinking Alltel blocked out those two menus.. but i can still access Games and Collections through the GoTo menu.

By saying that, he doesn't mean that the i stands for the gps capabilities... he's saying that there was only a slight difference between the two models, so instead of making a whole new name for it, they just add an i. Moto just did this with their razrs.. (See front page of phonescoop.com)
