Re: Reception in Pittsburgh

I spoke with a few techs and the issue is they are upgrading to the new 3G network. I have had the same issue when I traveled from Pittsburgh to Charleston SC which is also upgrading to the new 3G network. By the end of November everything should be in place, chances are it will be sooner then that. My intention is for my four lines if it doesn't get batter to call and complain. I feel the $250.00 ...

I had ran into a few issues myself using this unit. The issues I ran into were that when I was using a headset via bluetooth it was the worst connection possible. It would be less then a foot away from the headset and would appear to have static as if the unit was in another room. I even purchased a $100 headset to make sure it wasn't a poorly constructed headset and it still didn't fix the issue. ...

Treo 700wx issues??
Oct 1, 2006, 4:55 PM
in the Sprint forum

I currently switched from a PPC-6700 to a Treo 700wx. I love this phone and have been having some minor issues. Much like when the 6700 first came out and had some issues that were easily fixed by the update, I wondering if anyone else is having any issue with it freezing? Also anyone know of an update for this phone coming? Thanks, Seth

If i know correctly by using my phone, the little button on the top, next to the mini sd card is used to lock the screen and buttons, just click that and it will shut it off, but the phone will still remain active. Just click it again and the phone will come one. Nice thing it will also help cut down your quick use of the battery.

I currently own a V80 and have been having problems with the charging connection on the phone. When i plug the charge in it does not charge the phone. From previous experiences with nextel and the same exact connection type, I know that the connection is ****ty. Before I went through the trouble of dealing with motorola, I was seeking out other possible ideas.

You are correct, RIM phones are RAM based nor sim based storage. Even tho they use a SIM the data they store is not saved on the SIM.

Government/Military Discount?
Apr 24, 2005, 10:54 PM
in the T-Mobile forum

Ive tried speaking with the TMO reps previous to a deployment to inquire about a discount if it were offered and they said no. Now from the previous days post about them offering a discount for McDonalds I find it hard to believe that they would offer them a discount and not the Government. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Seth

MPX scrapped?
Apr 19, 2005, 12:41 AM
in the Motorola forum

While reading my daily fix of phonescoop I came across a piece of info that was rather confusing to me. The phonescoop blurb spoke about the MPX production being cancelled but when I looked at the link to the real story, it was speaking about the MPX230 being cancelled. Now from the info I have gathered the MPX was at one time the MPX300 then renamed just plain, MPX. What is the deal is the 230 cancelled but the ...
