650 Impressions - WOW
Let me start by saying, I have never had a PDA prior to this phone. But wow this unit is packed.
Camera - works well and is simple to work with. It also takes short video clips. Nice feature.
The phone actually works well. I seem to get signal strength in areas that I was unable to prior to having this phone.
The Unit itself is easy to navigate and work with.

I had a pre-order in at PalmOne and cancelled it yesterday right after I ordered it (telesales 888-253-1315) directly from Sprint! when you order it you have the option of getting next day delivery!!! :D If you call for an order, you may have to call several times. By end of month / Sprint
I haven't heard anything on verizon availability, sorry.
But I've heard 11/14 and 11/22 for Sprint. Since you can now preoder the unit directly at PalmOne I guess it's officially available, although they don't ship for several weeks, and you can't get it from Sprint yet. I would guess that we'll start seeing units by the end of November.
If anyone has concrete information, please post it. My information is all speculative. Thanks.

well, I pre-ordered the 650
Well I combed the net looking for ANY signs that the i550 would be available soon and couldn't find anything positive. While this is the unit I'd prefer, I'n not waiting anymore. So I hit the PalmOne site today and preordered the TREO 650. I guess someday Samsung will realize that they are losing customers each day the i550 isn't available.

According to everything I've seen the unit HAS bluetooth. So I wouldn't see why Sprint would disable it. (Although stanger things have been known to happen.)

I'll be honest, I would love to own the new i550. But I don't want to continue waiting. It might be different if Samsung & Sprint posted an official release date. (Oh yea, and I thought I could believe them.) So with the announcement that the TREO650 will be available on Nov. 14, it looks like the choice is made for me. I've heard Q4-2004, I've heard Q1-2005, and now a POTENTIAL release late in the 3rd quarter of 2004 (September). Has anyone gotten a solid release date? Or are we all working from speculation? SO I ask everyone who posts release information to also post the site where they got it. Thanks.
