Re: Please Help
The first iPhone had to be hooked up to iTunes to be activated. They should be activated at the store for you unless she ordered it as a replacement, in which case yes, she needs to hook it up to iTunes to activate it for you. It's VERY simple.
As far as the credit card goes, she needs to put one on so when she makes purchases it'll justy charge they card. Also, the credit/debit card is used to ...
Re: Well, Maybe I'm Crazy, but?
Sprint had this promotion running months before the AT&T/TMO merger was announced... FYI.
Re: Apple why do people hate you?
Pretty sure Xerox SOLD Apple the mouse... weird, PC's seem to use that very same stolen device!
And as far as being more user friendly... You should be a stand up comic!! You'd sell out the venues all the time!!
Innovative you say? It sure was... cuz it looked NOTHING like an iPhone's UI. At all...
Cuz it's Sprint's fault...
Yuo lost your air card and didn't have insurance on it. TROOOLLLLLLLL
Re: Apple why do people hate you?
You've said the same things in two different posts dude. You should probably come up with a new argument. I mean, last time I looked at the UI of an android phone it semmed awfully.... familiar to me. Weird...
Re: Way to go idiots!
Heaven forbid they want you to focus on your job...
Re: Apple why do people hate you?
People who hate Apple are usually die-hard Android fans. Traits of the fandroids include:
1. Love for unstable OS's.
2. Love waiting for updates based on what phone and carrier they have. IF they ever get them.
3. Love for removable batteries. They like this because it is reassuring to them that when they have issues, they can pull the battery. Had Google not rushed Android, they might not have that issue.
4. Love for not having a place to backup and sync ...
Re: Test dummy
I like how you made sure to add "averages" to cover your arse. I'm sorry, have you seen a Sprint phone say 1XRTT when you're online? I didn't think so...
Re: Crapple and SamSUCK
You're a genius!!! Maybe you should be Steve Jobs' right hand man!!! I mean, I'm sure you could run a multi-billion dollar company MUCH better...
Re: Pricing
tmorep03, ALL manufacturers state in their terms and conditions that they may record and track your location. GOOGLE, HTC, RIM, SAMSUNG, WINDOWS, PALM.. all of them. It's not just Apple. The only reason that was found is because Apple actually makes a tool to sync and back up ALL the data on their phone *cough cough HTC cough*...
Take a look

Re: In That Case...
Me too. AT&T has more than enough money to line the pockets of the decision makers at the FCC...
Re: I have an Apple question
Bible was written by man, not God... so....yeah.
Re: Can I ask why
They activate phones at the store now... Haven't had to do that since the first iPhone... try and keep with the times man.
Re: Good to see Sprint standing up for what's best for consumers.
I mean I understand why Sprint is doing what they're doing, but let's be realistic... AT&T is gonna pay out the butt to the government so they approve the merger. While I think it would most likely be bad, it could also have some positive outcomes.... maybe lol
Re: Good to see Sprint standing up for what's best for consumers.
Personally, I think Sprint is just scared, and they have every right to be. Big Red will stay competitive, but sprint has their head so far up their arse it's not even funny. One of two things will happen if "the man" approves the merger:
1. Sprint will be forced to sell to Big Red, and then I'll be out of a job.
2. Sprint will buy up what's left (US Cellular, Metro PCS, Clearwire) and continue to struggle.
If the AT&T/T-Mobile merger goes through...
Sprint will be the only national carrier that doesn't have the iPhone.... way to be competitive.
Re: Really....
I work for a partner store and we charge $5 to take a payment. It sucks, yes. But it costs us $2 to use the payment system everytime we take a payment. We used to waive it because we have a corp store 1/4 mile away, but our store loses about $1,000/mo if we don't.
Re: Can I ask why
That's worked for me everytime I've ever had an issue...
Re: many reasons
I agree. I love the UI and it could be cheaper. But I don't talk on my phone much at all. I use it mainly for texting, web, and apps (most of which were free :p) I think it's a matter of opinion, and therefore don't think it logical for someone to hate a phone or company for completely ill-legitment reasons. No one can deny that the iPhone was a game changer and a truly revolutionary device, paving the ...
Can I ask why
people don't like the iPhone? I have one. True, I love it. But I've also had blackberries, palms, and windows devices. I like the iPhone because it just works and has yet to fail me.
Re: DON'T CHANGE YOUR PLAN!
I agree. chiccora, either you're an uninformed customer, or a VERY uninformed Sprint employee. The rate plan price is the PRIMARY determining factor in of you're going to be a silver or gold premier customer... Please take the time to research topics before you regurgitate on here.
Re: Worst Phone Ever Per Carrier
As a Sprint Rep I'd have to nominate the Palm Pixi, Palm Centro, Palm Pre... Do you see a pattern here?!
Re: internal memory
You're an idiot
Nation-Wide Outage...
Just lost two new accounts.... awesome.
Re: tmobile sucks
I've worked for Sprint for 6 years. They DID cancel service of people who called too much because it costs the company money when customer call customer service. and they DID at one time charge a $3 fee for call customer care. Get your facts straight you douche...
Re: Reading this...
And what do you think VZW is going to do for you in June when the new iPhone comes out...? You really think they're going to let you renew, again, after five months??? I understand everyone on Big Red wanting the iPhone 4, but you do realize that you have a phone that's going to be outdated in about four months....right?
Re: Telesales Reps (Sprint)
Uhhh... the Blackberry Tour has a sim card.
Re: so I online chatted with sprint.com today...
The Epic Is a nice phone, however, its only drawback is that it's big and rather bulky compared to the rest of sprints phone lineup. Actually, it IS the biggest. and in my opinion, the Shift has a better looking screen than the epic. I know the Epic has the AMOLED display, but really, how often do you stand with your back to the sun and have it beating on your screen. Plus, the Shift just "feels" a little ...
Re: Verizon network already crashed in Denver?
HA!! And Verizon thought they were ready...
Re: Honestly,
I agree. I HATE it when people buy their phone at Target or Walmart or Joe's Phone Shack to save $30, then come to ME when they have problems. I LOVE telling them they have to go back to where they bought it if it's under 30 days lol
Re: did you just ask me to
I guess my biggest gripe with Android is that Google starts working on the next version before they release the previous version. Some of our phones have 2.2, some have 2.1, and now Google is releasing 2.3? To me it just seems that Google is trying to keep their head above water in competing with Apple.
And regarding iOS, why fix it if it ain't broken? lol
Re: did you just ask me to
If you ask me, and that's only if you ask... I think Androind needs a major overhaul.
Re: Are you serious?
First of all, that antenna issue only affected a small percentage of customers. And if you hold certain phones a certain way, they will loose signal. Verizon's iP4 already has a death grip called the death hug. And name me ONE smartphone that has never needed an update after launch to fix a bug.
I wonder if...
T-Mobile is gonna get in bed with Sprint. Sprint sold off part of their company to Clearwire, and Clearwire is who makes their 4G networ, right? T-Mobile stated "...including partnering with other companies"
Just food for thought.
Re: possible announchment 02/07/2011
While I understand your rationale, I must remind you of Sprint's (failed) acqusition of Nextel a few years ago...
I like how...
they say it runs 2.2 froyo, but the pic shows 2.1
Maybe Google should..
concentrate on getting their Android users 2.3 Gingerbread before jumping into another version right away. just saying...
Re: Honestly, many would...
See, I work for a wireless company that doesnt sell the iPhone. I have the HTC EVO (that should tell you who I work for). But prior to working here, I was (and still am) a loyal Apple customer. ScribeD got it right when he said they are aesthetically pleasing and DO perform.
Everyday, I must lie and tell people how the Andoid platform is so much better than iOS. I also will not be bashing any phones, but ...
Re: What do you do...
I reply to threads about what my fellow telecommunications retail sales reps do during slow periods :P
Re: i would
iOS runs alot more smoothly than Android. I have the EVO and the iPhone 4, and the EVO is CONSTANTLY bogging down and slow to respond as compared to the iPhone, which never, if ever bogs down.
