Re: WHY IS THIS PHONE GETTIN SUCH BAD REVIEWS
Contrary to some individuals, whose quality standards are highly suspect, nobody should pay top dollar for "JUST A PHONE!". As I have previously stated, I left VZW after 8 years, because my expectations that the highly touted V710 would be another quality StarTac were definitely not realized; it is not even close! The v710 is flimsy junk! The keypad with the peeling plastic numbers and the PLASTIC shell is warning enough. Do NOT confuse the good RECEPTION with phone ...
Re: Big ?: If I return my v710, which Verizon phone to get?
If you want an outstanding, new tech, and high quality phone with good service/reception, try the Samsung MMA700 from Sprint.

Release Date & Photos in Annual Report
First a bit of fatherly advice: Calm down and remain Ladies and Gentlemen. We are only discussing cell phones and not a life threatening disease!!
I have received Motorola's Annual Report and the usual stockholders' voting proxy request. In the Report, there were photos of the V710 and a statement that said the V710 would be available to the public in June 2004.
Of course that doesn't mean Verizon will run with the ball!! My wife and I are long ...
