Thinking about this phone
I am thinking about buying the BB 7520, replacing my V710. It would be great to have access to my e-mail. My concern is the signal strength and call quality. Signal and quality with my V 710 has been excellent. My network is Verizon. I would like to hear some feedback from those on the Verizon network. Also are you able to pair this phone with the bluetooth earpiece and an automobile that is bluetooth enabled so that ...
Pairing
One more question.
Are you able to pair the BB7250 with a bluetooth earpiece and bluetooth capable automobile? So when in the car, it will work with that system, then when out able to use the earpiece?
Thanks

Re: V710 - 05 Acura TL first call problem
I also have an Acura TL (albeit a 2004). I have not experienced the problem you're having. My V 710 works fine with the Acura's handsfree system.
I assume that under: Menu, settings, connection you have the BlueTooth icon enabled - select the BlueTooth icon - then slect SetUp. Enable Power ON. And under car settings the auto answer is Off, Auto Hansfree is on?
That's the way my phone is set. Works fine on all calls when ...
Re: Blue tooth Compatible
The V710 worked fine from the first day with my Acura TL. I understand that the RL has the same phone comatiblity as the TL.
So I don't see why not.
You can always ask the sales person to test it in your RL.
Re: Any way to change the "Voicemail" number on the voice menu?
Sam,
I have my voice mail set up under speed dial #1 with the pauses and my password.I put in two pauses. This permits me to just press 1 then I am then immediately taken to my messages.

Hope this helps you.
Re: ringtones .mid
There should be one more file right below the txt. message. Scroll down using the arrow keys. That should be the ringtone. Follow the directions to store.
If you aren't receiving that "play" ringtone, then perhaps the phone does not recognize that particular ringtone.

Found this website: http://caeaudio.com/tele.html
Cost is 9.95 for the telephone ringer pack.
You can preview before buying. Many different types of Regular telphone ringers.
Re: Contacts?
Yes, if you mean the speed dial numbers.
Go to phonebook. Press menu. Go to settings.
Under phonebook setup you'll see SORT BY: Press the left or right button and it will scroll to Name, Speed No. or Email.
Press done when finished.
Re: Bluetooth activation Acura TL
I've encounter no problems. Incoming and outing calls work fine. The only pain is having to verbally put in the Acura phonebook. The TL will not recognize your phones phonebook.
If you followed all the instructions, you can call Acura. I did and they were very helpful.
Good luck.
Re: Don't use verizon lambskin fitted case!!!!!!!!!!
 Too bad you destroyed your case. The plastic protective screen sticks to the phone. Another person posted the solution earlier.
Simply slide a "post it note" or a piece of paper folded between the protective plastic screen and phone. The top case will slide off very easily.
BlueTooth power
If this has been asked, I apologize in advance.
If you leave the Setting connection for BlueTooth power on while not using a BlueTooth device, does this "sap" battery power from the phone?
Thanks

Re: V710??
According to information I have read, Verizon will be the carrier. As to price, sorry, any answer I give would be a guess.
Availability -- well other forums claim the second half of this year. Maybe June, maybe later.
Re: v710 vs v810
Your right. My mistake, I stand corrected.
I was trying to explain it in simple terms.
Thanks. :)
I'm hoping that the V710 will be out soon. My car recognizes BlueTooth. With several laws passed recently, you can't use your cell phone unless it's handsfree. -- At least where I live.
Re: v710 vs v810
BlueTooth permits one to sync their phone with their computer without the use of cables. It's a infrared wireless connection. This permits one to put in all theri contacts and phone numbers, use the phone with computer for internet connection and so on.
Even some new automobiles have this where you can sync your phone with the cars audio system to hear and speak into a microphone that was built into the car. An example is the new ...
Re: BlueTooth phones?
Thanks for the info. Northern Ohio is the Cleveland area for me.
I bought the new 2004 Acura TL and would like to have a phone that I can use with this car.
Really don't need the camera or data capabilty but they all seem to come with the phone.
Also appreciate the "tip" about having them demonstrate the BlueTooth phone with my car. That's an excellent idea.
Just not sure if I should wait for the new Motorola 600.
Again thanks
BlueTooth phones?
I have been a long time customer with Verizon even before they became Verizon. So- I have always had CDMA technology. Still have my Motorola Star TAC (works very well, thank-you)
However, I have since puchased a new car that will synchronize with a bluetooth phone.
It appears that Verizon will not have a BlueTooth phone for some time, possibly late this year, if then.
I am considering switching to AT&T or Cingular and possibly buying the new Nokia 6820 or another ...

Re: Any good new phones coming out for VZW?
I to have an new Acura TL and want a new bluetooth cell phone. I have been with Verizon and former compaines since 1987 and have always had good service. However I am now considering switching. I've looked at AT&T, Cingular (now they are one) and T-Mobile.
Have heard that in my area Cleveland, OH that T-Mobile isn't "that good."
Since I've always had a CDMA phone, I am leery to switch to GSM. I make calls ...
Love Motorola
I'm a big fan of Motorola cell phones and can't wait until the new Bluetooth Motorola is available. I currently have an old StarTac that has been great but now want a Bluetooth phone. I'm currently with Verizon, but they seem very slow to adopt Bluetooth. I understand that AT&t will carry this phone. Does anyone have information about availabilty from Verizon or the service of AT&T?
Thanks
