I've only been a Sprint customer for a little over a year. I RARELY have any issues so I usually have no reason to contact Sprint for anything. I went in the store location just last week to upgrade my phone and I had the most wonderful rep assist me. She was sooo helpful. She explained everything to me. I had only a short while before I had to leave and do something but she gave me her business ...

Anyone have suggestions that they would like to share with everyone on how to conserve battery life? I've only had my Hero for a week and the charging everyday thing is started to get pretty annoying. I've only found two things that help...
1. Turn off Data Network at night (For those of us that dont read emails in the middle of the night :lol: )
2. Advanced Task Killer - I've only have it for about 1 day but ...

Well thats actually really good to know. LOL! Probably not what it was intended for though. Since you have the phone, one more question. I seen on youtube that the phone gets hot if you put a plastic cover on it... Is this true??

Yea I'm thinking of getting a Palm Pre. Watched some videos on youtube about the 3D gaming. But that darn wiggle between the slide that I hear about is such a bummer.

That's very sad that you would want cause trouble with someone else's job. Doesn't make much difference cause 65% of the time the claim is rejected anyway and we direct them back to the store. Why are they rejected? Because store reps like you failing to perform your job and explaining what you are selling a customer.

Well we here in the insurance world do not think that its funny. Customer call in upset that they were never advised that something was not covered or they had to pay a deductable. I'm just saying if you're not going to explain it right then just tell them to call the insurance company.

CES 2010 shows the VZW Palm Pre with the same gesture area as the Palm Pixi :cry: , I would have so loved that on the Sprint version.

2.) I heard some people saying that the phone wiggles a little bit at the slide. Is this true for all of them of just some?

If you go to youtube and search for videos for Palm Pre virtual keyboard, it will show you how to get one. Unfortunatly at this time I don't think that Palm itself has stated anything about making this feature come standard with the phone.

I will be getting my Palm Pre in about a week and these are good questions. I would love to have the answers to this also. Thanks for bringing this up as I was very unaware of this contact list issue. Also for ringtones, I use a site on my blackberry called waptrick.com (go under the sound effects option and scroll to the bottom for full mp3 ringtones), if that works please notify me.

Currently I have a Blackberry 8330 and I have been thinking of upgrading but I really need to know if the phone has the ability to use as a modem like my Blackberry does? Does anyone know is this is possible?
