My Positive Experiences with Sprint Customer Service

I signed up with Sprint nearly 2 years ago and as a matter of fact I am due for renewal in about a month. Over the past 2 years I have always been treated very well by the Sprint employees both over the phone as well as the corporate stores. I know a lot of people have had their fair share of horror stories and I don't take that away from you but I just wanted to say that Sprint has always treated me very well as a customer. Recently I have had some personal problems that have impacted me financially and it has been kind of tough to keep up with the cost of my phone service. I have to say that when I call financial services to talk to them they have worked with me - bending over backwards to keep my phone service turned on and happily work o...

I have been a customer for about 8 years. Early on I hated the customer service but decided to give them one more shot and signed up again. It was a great decision. They helped me with a broken phone issue and didn't blink to waive a large fee. I even sent them an email asking why the change? They replied saying that they as a company were focusing on helping current customers more then they had in the past. It has made a difference and I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon.

I've only been a Sprint customer for a little over a year. I RARELY have any issues so I usually have no reason to contact Sprint for anything. I went in the store location just last week to upgrade my phone and I had the most wonderful rep assist me. She was sooo helpful. She explained everything to me. I had only a short while before I had to leave and do something but she gave me her business card and told me if I need anything to call her personally. Her customer service blew me away.

Sprint has made a lot of improvements over the last couple of years according to the J.D. Power and Associates surveys. Sprint has 7 consective quarters of improving scores, and has shown the most overall improvement of any major service provider.

So, yes, Sprint is stepping up their game. 🙂

A friend of mine just called me up. His Verizon contract is up next month. He signed up with them when I worked there and asked my advice on an upgrade. I informed him that they are going to make him get a data plan unless he gets a basic handset. He asked for an alternative. I told him about Page Plus and their $39.99 Unlimited Talk and Text, however he wants a cool new phone. I told him Sprint has the same plan he has now with seven nights and weekends rather than nine. Sold! He'll be in next month to port out. Don't let me down.

I rarely had have to call in, as I usually don't have issues that need fixed. buta few weeks ago, my phone was having issues, turns out we needed to do a troublshooting step, but couldn't at the time as there was a tower issue, he told me he would call back at 8 when the tower issue was expected to be fixed. well when he called me back, I though it was wierd because it wasn't a 1-800 number. turns out he got off work at 6 and called me FROM HOME, and he knew the steps to get my phone fixed off the top of his head, without his computer. I was absolutely blown away, I got his supervisors number and called her directly, and told her he needed a raise right now, I sure I hope he got it.

That's awesome. it's hard to get these anymore. i work in a field similar to this for a company similar to this and always try to go the extra mile. In all I am glad that there are people out there not just in it for a paycheck and take pride in the logo that rests on their shirt! If you do something give it your all. Even if you don't care for it. Then when you find something you want to do, you'll be the best!

The last few times I have had to call in I have also had great service. The issue was resolved in five minutes or less. I have noticed a lot friendlier people at the malls sprint stores, and the other day there was a line of people waiting to activating phones. Not something I had seen before. Sprint is slowly swinging back. I cant wait to see when they "gain" customers for the first quarter. We are adding three lines this quarter and weather sprints net gain is 1 customer or a million, they are improving.

I love this thread...It's nice to not always share the negative things about a company and give them credit where credit is due. I hope people keep adding to this and Sprint continues on the seemingly correct path they are on.

Have been a customer of Sprint since 1997. In all my experience has been nothing but positive. I have seen the change in behavior in customer service and like it.
