Just get a leaked version or install from the SD card the ROM updates like the rest of us. Ugh, stop waiting for the carriers, manufacturers to release things...this is America for goodness sake! I upgraded my DROID way before Big Red/ Motorola handed out 2.1. I'm so over Android, back to Blackberry.

Don't think it will happen soon...Blackberry is an Industry Standard their devices are stable and perfect for business users. Calendar, email, personal data managementm need I go on. At the end of the day....Android and iPhones are toys that make calls... Blackberry is for the grown, PROFESSIONAL and sexy...hmmm like me!

Yup thats probably the thought. And who said anything about unlimited data...Verizon can't handle that anyway from what I hear...lol. Folks I am with Verizon because I use my phone as a...gasp...phone. Unlimited minutes would be nice. Was thinking about paying the extra 20 anyway, now all I have to pay is 10. Win/win

is doing something in Miami as well...only they are paying for it upfront. No retro billing... BTW> over 1.5 mill already donated to American Red Cross by verizon customers via texting...very nice.

I read the post Menno you are a mess :roll: and still think its bogus even it its not targeted at my device....right now.... Even if they implement this going forward there is not as much "grandfathering protection" as there used to be. I have verizon and love the service, but now question a lot of their business practices. As a consumer..I can.

Ok I am fine with capitolism and the like but come on Verizon. Stop Whining...and acting like you can not afford to operate. Cant handle the unlimited data, then SUCK IT UP and fix your netwrok and technology. Stop trying to make up excuses to raise rates, my goodness. All these posts with "options" and metered plans...not gonna happen the cost of ownership is too high already in most households. This is a major contract and service change I would totally ...

I actually have an android device. I love it, but it is a shame the they do not SHIP with the necessary apps to USE the phone...a file manager, document viewer, etc. Like I said I like that you can customize the device, but at the pricetag they have, they should atleast come useable. I had to download apps just to use it as a PHONE...ugh.

Bing only seems to work on Windows Mobile phones....mark my workds. It did not work well on the Blackberry devices or Droid phones...do not bother iphone people it will crash your phone...just a heads up....you will see...

You are on Virgin Mobile with no issues...thats because you are on Verizon...good choice. Boost Mobile is a very inexpensie plan great for larger cities, but not much in the outskirts or non"downtown areas".

I was given a sweet deal with Verizon to purchase this phone..Their customer service ROCKS!!!But I'm on the fence with this one. Any recommendations phone scoop friends? Any google platform users out there? The only 1 I saw in action was the G1..not impressed. I saw the reviews on this device....what was your experience with the google technology. Remember at the end of the day...its a phone...even if it is the best network.

I agree...but you have to admit it is funny. AT&T has been waiting for Verizon to do something to allow them to retaliate...weak, they should save their money.

This is funny because Verizon (whom I love and have great service with)sued AT&T over their best coverage ads a few years ago citing that they did not have the best coverage in the US. Thus making AT&T take their commercials off the air and changing to "worldwide" which cost them millions...commercials aren't cheap. This lawsuit will probably yield the same results due to the implications....people...what you reap; :evil: you hall sow.... :twisted:

The optical trackball is more stable. Samsung introduced it first to US market (I belive), its pretty sensitive and does not have the same "coming loose" problems with the blackberry trackball. I think you will like it...

Ok, they phone is nice..I guess if you want a touch screen phone still stuck in Google land. The 3g feature wont work for most customers and its priced too high for spotty service and a mandatory data contract. Tmobile needs to get with it and lower their devices if they want to stay competitive. ps: I do not dislike Tmobile, was with them for over 9 years, a new device does not cover spooty coverage..

Thank you!!! Finally someone understands me. The Handango download requires a payment, Windows mobile needs an On Device APP store, something that does not require an active sync just to get a theme...
