Yea I'm going to have to agree with jayshmay...if this samsung is half as nice as it sounds, i'm going to ditch my G1 for it...i like the G1 concept but the device is made so cheap and the camera is garbage with no flash and my phone squeaks, sometimes i just wanna hit it up with a can of WD-40 :lol:

why would anyone rely on cell phone gps..it's horrible and lags, plus you have to rely on cellular coverage...i have a garmin nuvi 260w and it's always online and very accurate. i tried sprint and vzw navi...neither could navigate its way out of a paper bag. best of all i don't pay anything per month

I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that if the iphone stays with ONE carrier, I'd rather the iphone stay on at&t rather than vzw...the price of the iphone is not as bad as it used to be but if i would pay "iphone" money for a phone, it's best on a gsm network. vzw just loves to lock down phones with that ugly UI. On the other hand apple and at&t do restrict the device but not ...

Anyone know if the FCC has released pics of the new sk? im not crazy about sk's but since Microsoft bought danger, rumor around the camp fire is that windows mobile will go onto them which is a smart thing. if this is true then maybe now you can use the sk to tether your phone to your laptop.

OK, first of all the 3G coverage is not big, for $60/month that's like vzw/sprint/at&t and comcast prices, we're supposed to be cheaper, not the same or more. It's dumb stuff like this that makes wonder what robert dotson is thinking when he allows this type of crap to happen. Who in their right mind will pay $60/month for mediocre internet during a recession. It wouldn't be so bad if tmob lowered the price and removed the data cap. ...

I have a dash with windows mobile and i love it, just wish it had more of that vista 64 bit smoothness of graphics feeling to it, combined with the design of the dash it would be perfect, but then the dash's memory wouldn't be able to handle the power needed to run those graphics, bit of a quandary :? :lol:

This is a good company, plus they're huge in Chicago, it pains me to think that verizon will probably want to get their greedy hands on this network too. Sprint is too broke to buy anything so we don't have to worry about them but if uscc sells i know a lot of people that would switch to another provider just so they dont have verizon.

They finally get a phone worth buying but the price is way too high, on the bright side at least web is included, why can't they do something to lower the price like if you want the 8330 at a discounted price then you pay for a couple months in advance or purchase any metro pcs/blackberry accessories?
